Of course - the entire content of this thread is fictitious. The mere concept that a Mac can generate errors is both whimsical as it is pure fallacy.
However, the ghost of his Holiness Patriarch Jobs is not amused. Redemption upon the non-believers of the Bitten Fruit will be swift and painful...
Think I'm going to wait until the initial EA-FFS-WTF-dust settles and buy it later in the year....
I can't understand why the Mac users should have to wait either? Surely it's a prime game for the platform?

Are you really that desperate to photograph your item for sale??

I don't understand this obsession with multiplayer in games? Just as DanPhoto says - at times its great to simply fire up the PC, have a blat for an hour and then shut it down. It your time choice and you're not buggering up the game commitments for the other players by dropping out early.
I...
Have you taken it for a decent run? The new battery could have been sat on the shelf for weeks, if not months? Exact same happened to mine last year. Swapped the battery out, but then took it on a 60 mile trip (inc. a fair bit of motorway). It's been fine ever since. Or....
If your alternator...
Despite my genetic disposition to dislike most cars with 4-rings on them - the RS6+ that was here at work sounded epic. I had a softer spot for the RS4 Avant before it for some reason, though?
I bet the running costs of your previous Evo's will seem trivial in comparison, Ant! ;)

The one issue I have above all with I.T. Perhaps one of the worst industries for 'out-of-hours' learning - and you quickly realise that even on a regular diet of speed and caffeine - 24 hours per day simply isn't enough. Unless you're a super-guru in one small aspect of I.T - be prepared to...
Got one of these myself for a Xmas present too. How self-righteous and smug did I feel when I got in touch with the manufacturer and said "...one of my valve-springs appears to be missing from my engine". It was almost like I knew what I was talking about. Unless they can run on 7 springs? ;)

Reading this thread, I feel like an unrational desire to create more data. Is it wrong that everything I have that I genuinely believe to be important would fit onto three DVD-R's?

Bought this cheap-er off Amazon last week and have put about 7 hours into. So far, so good - really liking it - especially the production values and the same music for the galaxy map, etc.
Downloaded the free 1.8GB alternative ending too after I've still closed my eyes and ears to the apparent...
That does look superb. Looks like a grown-up version of GTA (which despite my repeated attempts, I simply can't get into). Brilliantly presented, but I see it suffers from the 'moon-walk' glitch where everyone despite casting shadows on the ground - appears to be hovering an inch or two above...
But they are a piece of piss to clean! Genuinely the only alloys on a car I regularly washed, that I didn't mind doing. ;)
I can imagine. Even in standard form and in the damp - it's easy to get that rear-end unsettled. Force-fed and a wallop of more torque would be interesting to drive!

Same here. The other month, I was in rolling traffic on the M62 and passed a people-carrier where the bonnet clearly wasn't shut properly. Bibbed him and put the window down to tell him. His response? "Cheers m8" - then continued to carry on driving? :S Surely with the traffic doing about 5mph...
Me-ow! :P
I'd prefer it to be more like the original, than the follow-up - but I did like both of the previous games regardless. Will definitely be buying it.

They would have been far better at licensing the L4D2 engine from Valve and heavily modifying it with the Aliens setting. 4 Marines going up against waves of aliens in an objective-based FPS? Would have worked far better imo...

This. Offside rear has been replaced twice in the 100k+ I've had the 182 and on both occassions, the noise has gone.
Sounds very much like the symptoms I had - and again, I checked all the wheels for heat excessive build-up or anything feeling 'loose'. It's a good chance it is a wheel bearing...
Could you push to a Macbook with Office 2013 thrown in? Sounds like that would be a perfect accessory given the Apple devices you currently have as well?

Not bothered about redundancy m8 - I never have anything important saved anyway. I'm more thinking of the practicality of getting the largest single drive I can with them. :)

How come it is so loud? Is it Simply a pipe and nothing else?
Not my cup-of-tea - but fairplay for trying it for the laugh. The Evo gets too loud in-car for me at times - and that's WAAAAAY quieter than yours! :)
D.
Chaps - I've got 2x 240GB SSD's with SATA 6gbps support. My mobo has two SATA 6 ports on it too. Is it worth just RAID Zeroing them together to get a single 450GB-ish drive? Or should I keep one strictly for the O/S and the other for apps usage?
Cheers,
D.
Cheers Martin! She's not flawless by any means, but she still looks the part!
The Evo X is definitely growing on me. I wasn't keen at first, but it definitely has that subtle/aggressive look going on. I'd like to have a go of one to see how much difference there is in the drive of the X...
