no one buys a cup packed 182 for the "better" suspension lol to be honest you wont notice any difference in ride height, you might feel a difference on track if your a good driver, dont know tho never drove a cuped or non cuped
ive heard of troley jacks coming down to i always use stands if im going under.
my trolley jack fuked my sills at the front its ok at the back tho, so far!
only mod ive declaired is suspension, as its pretty obvious, both my sets of wheels have renault badges, standard looking to me! how was i to know they seats and spoiler didnt come standard! uprated brake pads and engine mount bushes, what are they?!
i was ment to be getting mine from yozza but fred decided not to reply to my 2 emails i sent even after he gave me the address to email him for prices! lol
i removed the gearbox mount and engine mount under the battery and dropped the subframe down on a trolley jack, isnt the easiest to get access to but its doable!
ive got standard disks with EBC greenstuff pads and it works well, tho it tends to fade quite early, so if they were paired with some good disks would be a really nice combo! but fast road use they are perfect, just on a tight road where your going from 80+mph to 30-40mph they can fade quite quick
watch at 7 seconds, like said above does feel much faster in life than it looks in a video, im just compairing it to my car on roundabouts (watching that video i would say i go into roundabouts faster, but because it feels faster than it looks im probably not going as fast as it seems, if im...
decat, catback, throttle body from 2.0 F4R (non renaultsport engine), cams, panel filter, remap.
you can always go for lightened and balanced bottom end, headwork etc ill leave it up to you to decide if its worth it or not. i looked into the 1.6 conversion but realised its not much faster than...
mine does it in first and even in 2nd if your pissing about in the wet at roundabouts or junctions. fuks engine mounts tho mine jumps out of gear sometimes coz of it lol
had this a year and 2 months, only been driving it for 4 months, spent £2,500 on it and although its mental fun to drive i want more power... never selling this car tho not worth enough to be worth selling with 124k on the clock, so this will more than likely be a hybrid soon
you could say that but then is there much point in you "wasting" the 12k or so you payed for your trophy on a clio, what about 30k for a V6 is there much point in that?
its only money you always earn more :)
keep standard 15s get some good 50 profile tyres on them, slam it 80mm on coilovers, upgraded brake, catback exhaust with sports/decat, panel filter, pioneer headunit with amp and components of your choice.
thats what id do :)
if i was to get my cylinder head skimmed down a bit so the engine ran a higher compression what sort of gains would i be looking at? and what about reliability?
keeping in mind the engine would be getting stripped down for a head gasket change anyway.
tell them you had your gps pda in the boot and have proof of how hard they were driving it (more than likely that they were ragging it) and get yourself free stuff lol
