runs a bit better. idles funny with normal stuff (possibly because the ecu is used to optimax?) plus if it really is better for your engine, id say its worth it :)
at stirling cruise jock was saying his 172 was a slow one and that gibsons pulls on him no problem, he opened the bonnet and what was under there... a K&N!
strut brace will fit and make fuk all difference, filter should fit but they have different airbox setups so not totaly sure on that 1 (engine is identical tho) but will make the car slower and louder lol
put £45 of Optimax in yesterday and it still wasnt full (well the guage was right off the scale but it didnt click off)

k-tec relocation pipe is toss anyway, lost mine power and torque, was shuddering when pulling away because of loss of torque and heat soak.
its nice if you want noise just not for power.
as for suspension, apex it. if your just changing springs go for -40mm or if your going full kit go for...
i thought i hadn't lost any power with my open filter, infact i thought i had gained power untill i put the standard airbox back on to see if i got any better MPG and put my foot down, had much more torque when pulling away, when i was pulling away in the dry as i would normally it was...
lower it and then watch the "1.4 corsa boy" dissapear, fun fun.
seriously tho fogs look stupid when its not foggy... lol ive been known to put full beam on "by mistake" when someone with fogs comes towards me when its not foggy.
yeah suppose, think it could possibly be the battery, as it seems to just be taking longer to fire up as if the battery isnt turning the starter like it used to.

and to think some guys on here pay GDI £1,700 to get 200bhp thats INCLUDING a remap when superchips can get the same power for about £300 or what ever they charge.
