Just picked up a slim, kinect ready for when we probably get it xmas, looks nicer, wifi built in. My old elite will go to my bedroom to replace my ATV as a media centre I think!

If I get a new 250GB slim, how easy is it transfer all my stuff from my old elite? Do you need to buy a cable like you used to?

If you ordered this morning like some of us, then its saying despatch before 14th Oct (and still is, I just logged in to check) If you order now its 1-2 weeks wait.

This is pretty much the same as the case thread for the 4..... I'm not bothering, protecting my 4 because I knew I was selling it soon after buying was a right pita. Going naked, using at as day to day phone, yes it might get knocked/scratched but its there to be used.

Pay it on CC, use overdraft, use someone else's CC. Its a one off, i'm guessing its only £100 at the most. I dont see a reason to cancel the DD at all tbh, unless your really s**t at managing money?
