PMSL! I haven't seen one that bad since I bought a Physx card off eBay years back! One of the benefits of having several air-compressors at work - I blast out my PC every couple of months.
Glad you got the issue sorted too. :)

^^^ - that sounds the most likely culprit. I ran that same board for years with ATi, single nVidia cards and nVidia cards in SLi without the issues you mention. Being the SLi-spec board as well, both PCI-e slots run at x16 - so it shouldn't matter which slot your gfx card is in. Some of the...
'03 silver 172 yesterday and an RB 182 heading up towards Sainsburys earlier this afternoon. Also spotted an 182 Baked Bean on the A515 on the way down here yesterday, near Pomeroy (sp?)

The fact that Bioware have their fingers in this C&C pie, might at a pinch, make it worthwhile. It would be a remarkable achievement if they manage to pull it off though. The lack of SP campaigns is just crazy. Even the grand-daddy of them all, Dune 2 - had 9 levels to work through. My biggest...
EXACTLY Seb. What is the frigging point?? It will be another half-assed, worthless piece of online-only crap like C&C4 was. C&C was always about the SP campaigns - take those away and you're removing one of the core values of the franchise.
Fecking EA messing about with things again - things...
Erm. WTF?
Seriously. WTF? WhyTF does EVERYTHING have to be online driven these days????

One of the reasons why I ditched two ill-matched monitors on my PC at home. For a works PC, there are no issues, but some games just insist on running 'their way' - which is massively frustrating. Lazy devs again, imo. The older games are less likely to have this issue than the newer console...
Browny - below are the washer pipes, pulled out from inside the arch liner. The arch liner itself down't have to be removed, just unbolted. The pipes are held in place by a little clip, that you should easily be able to reach with your hand.
The left tube is as standard. The right tube has the...
What mileage has the 182 got at the minute, Browny? Chances are that it will have an aftermarket exhaust (or certainly backbox) fitted over the original item, already. The OEM piece was heavy, made of very poor metal and hence rusted badly, collected water for many people, had weedy pee-shooter...
If there's no record of the gearbox oil being changed - get that done too. I've had mine since new and got the oil dropped and swapped at 12k. The 'box went from feeling like a spoon handle sticking out from a tub of wet concrete - to something that was actually quite precise and rewarding to...
Too right. You'll need four times that to do it justice - for an i7 CPU, mobo and new memory. Your Optiplex power supply is unlikely to power that either.

If you're going to be doing encoding a lot in the future, I'd seriously recommend looking a i7's. You don't have to go silly Extreme spec to get decent processing power either. Short of recompiling Avatar, I doubt a 10GB file would take an i7 anywhere near that time - certainly if backed up with...
Encoding? i5 CPUs are good enough for that - but i7's are really the better option if you're doing it seriously.
Unfortunately you'll be needing a new motherboard, memory and probably a gfx card. Oh, and ditch Fista. Basically, a whole new revamp!

Well done m8! Mine cracked that about a month ago - had her from new too. She's come a long way and I genuinely think I will never sell the 182. I'll just keep it until the bills make no sense to keep her whatsoever.... :)

Bought a set for the girlfriend's Puma from the following place. Good items and they fitted the footwells great.

I'm debating whether or not to start afresh too. The most fun I had with this game was in the first 10 hours - just finding my feet with some of the skills and being careful with who I encountered.
My character started to get on that slippery slope of being able to nail a lot of things without...
