Sophos can be a bit of a memory hog tbh - quite often desktops here running it can have a Sophos process anywhere between 150-200MB in size. That's on PCs though - not quite sure how it compares on a Mac. D.

Not downloaded the latest patch on this. Tbh, I'd be proper rusty on this now as I haven't been on in ages and all people tend to play is that horse Metro map. D.

Going in with an open mind on this. D1 was ground-breaking at the time and D2 was a much more complete, much more 'open' game that previous. I won't lie, but after a 12-year hiatus - I'm kind of hoping for some solid gameplay with the third installment. I'm really favouring co-op games recently...

I had despatch confirmation from Play for my copy today. Fair play to Play - they honoured my pre-order price of £24.99, which I'm pretty impressed with! Just a shame D3 doesn't have the necromancer class of D2. That was brilliant. :) D.

Yep - already mentioned in the CoH thread - but any word spread about it's awesomeness is worthy! Bought it for my m8 from uni to 'convert' him too. He used to really like the C&C games of old, so I suspect he'll pick up on this in no time. D.

Good shout. Get a bag with anything and everything in there - fuses, small can of WD, tape as mentioned, tube of super glue, etc. You'll probably never need most of it, but if you make sure that the bag is small and doesn't take up too much space, it could well be worth it. A decent set of...

Those are good cards, m8! I'm running SLi'd GTX460's at the moment still - and they are pretty good at running most things in high. The only thing that insta-killed it was with The Witcher 2 when ubersampling was enabled........ craaaaawwwwwllllll ;) D.

The rear bearings are a little fiddly, imo. Easy to get wrong or slightly mis-aligned/over-tightened. D.

If you stick with old tech for them, they are ok. It's the newer fangled tech that tries to support or emulate serial as an interface that totally falls over. Oh, and s**t drivers for them. ;) D.

Change. Now. Simply not worth it at all. You might get another 60 miles out of it. You might get another 6,000 miles out of it. It simply isn't worth the risk as these can go without any prior warning - and as far as I'm aware, you'll need a minor miracle not to do any permanent engine damage...
