the AA were substancially cheaper for my family under their family plan. had the RAC before and was quite disappointed with them on two of their callouts.
bloody 172's are always breaking ;)
john2modified was the cheapest i could found by miles, last time i checked could do ph2 172 H&Rs for 630, not sure bout 182. i only compared his quotes to internet sites etc though, worth while getting a quote of him anyhow :) www.2modified.com, bets giving him a ring
of cause then Loony can...
in 15 i've got no idea as i've been looking at 16's lol. but in 16's they're about 50quid cheaper than turinis which is another reason why i shouldnt get turinis. eh ali ;)
they're common ;)
very very very nice tho, but im trying to get something that hasnt been done much. been looking at split rims but cant justify the best part of 1.5k
yeah thats unacceptable. doesnt matter about basecoats and crap, otherwise renault wouldnt paint it that colour in the first place. blending it into the wings wont work as your just going to have less of a line - just more of a professional bodge
LMAO - i was waiting for that.
im based in stoke alex, so its a bit of a drive lol. been looking at keskins, but the only one i really fancy is a 8.5x 17 et35 :D
theres a few euro style wheels ive seen, which will be a good compromise between style and look so i might go that way.
any mods that are going to generate real power are going to be expensive and therefore pointless. declaring the mods will also increase your premiums.
your really best off sticking with the 1.2 until you can afford a faster car, or get a decat made on the cheap.
sports cat - 180 fitted
viper - 200
both done on mine and made it much more fun to drive. you could go for a conversion but its just not worth it when you consider the price of 172's and the insurance implications.
Could someone a dab hand on photoshop or whatever it is, sort me some quick photoshops of the two wheels below onto my car. wheels are currently 15'', but am looking at getting 16's so would be great if they were marginally bigger - but beggers cant be choosers lol.
car...
ive seen the spacer type ones on ebay and the like and seem safe enough - altho will no doubt put extra stress on the bearings etc. can normally get them ordered in at your local alloy wheel motor factors.
looking at pro race 1's in 16'' in white with black decals, or something a little euro. but offsets are a nightmare especially as i rack up a fair few miles, so need to have the car fully driveable lol
i did think about the old school ronals, but i must admit i'm liking the old screwfix split rims ;)
currently enquiring into braid and compomotive but everywheres so expensive. Also considering pro race 1's
got bored of the willy wheels, and have been looking for some new wheels and i've come to a grinding halt as i havent got a clue what im looking for anymore.
could either go euro, stay with 15's and go as wide as possible. however not sure how driveable this would make the car.
otherwise...
yeah i chopped it in half and turned it upside down, looks better imo :rasp:
exactly the same splitter as pictured on duttys car (as i bought it off him ;))
