also am almost certain that 'the big yin' had rh cups on his clio mk2, but cant find any pics im afraid :(
student loan and a 172 - wish my student loan would stretch that far. i have to struggle to make do with my 1.2 lmao
thats not the point tho is it lol
looks smart as fook if done right - for anyone who may be interested (thanks to winston) this is the pic of the wheels at the top of the thread:
road legal ones are like little chrome pins with a directional led. you normally put one on each end to illuminate the plate.
those look like they'll just shine light outwards, and not onto the plate itself.
viper is good, but expensive.
relocation looks ok, but is relatively pointless.
if i had to get another, id get a cheap universal closed one, and then run some ducting to it.
has anyone on here used the yoko avs sport tyres.
want some in 195/45/r15 for my car and wondered if these were as good as some websites claim. at 50quid a corner is anything else going to be a better bet?
they do look hellishly nice
is there any set way to get rid of the lights?
me and has have resistored mine in the pairs they were in, in the connector blocks but the lights still aint gone off. i dont think theres an accurate wiring diagram either?
want carbon doorcards for form or function?
sheet carbon would work if its for function, but otherwise would have to have some custom made which would be hellishly expensive.
1.2 doorcards would be a direct replacement if you wanted to sell yours. i think thats what your asking lol
they arent cheap at all, dont fit right, and the quality of the fibreglass is relatively poor. all my opinion of cause ;)
but they do look nice when fitted well. but vinny had to have 1.5'' cut out of the centre of the front bumper to fit it right.
have a look on the prima racing...
looks like you'll need universal subframes and some patience.
cobra do universal subframes, so you could try cobra retailers... 2modified, yozzasport etc.
vinny has prima racing 172 replica bumpers iirc, but around the 300mark for everything is acceptable for a top job. see clioG-B's thread:

apex kit is available from most places. 2modified.com being one ;)
scrubbing on full lock wont be much of a worry, as your normally doing extremely slow speeds.
will be the reason for it going flat yes, as the tyre doesnt get a good seal onto the alloy.
normally it means the wheel will be weaker, and ultimately get worse over time - but if its not that bad then leave it and put it on the back. but a new alloy is usually the only way to fix it...
