nah i found out i'd been had, paid 280 quid for a set of willy wheels where two were fake cheap prima copies, not a happy bunny. Wernt even in show condition as they stated they were. So i'm doing a swap with matbrown for his set of white willys with polished lip plus cash :)
if you want a hidden one then the k-tec stealth is a good bet, or alternatively go to your lower powerflow centre to get one made up - who could tailor the level of noise.
people complain about the stainless steel used by powerflow being poor quality and tarnishing - but if its a stealth...
1. open boot
2. remove 6 torx screws
3. shut boot
4. pull hard
5. unplug the electric cable for light
6. unplug the washer jet feed
7. done :)
i'd get it done professionally, but if your handy with the cans then why not
i did mine yesterday using the headunit and it worked fine. simply put the 4 numbers in, and then i held the button 6. no idea why but the radio came on afterwards lol
ditto not painted.
why do you need the paint code? they're just silver so spray them both silver from halfords or somewhere. no-body will ever tell the difference.
didnt think you had a 2.0 ?
chip any lumps off with your nail. then use solvent remover from B&Q or use petrol/white spirit.
just make sure to re-wax the panel when you've finished
sticks out like a sore thumb on a black car. i did spray mine in gunmetal which looked better - but taking it off is by far the best option for it.
dont want to advertise the fact i own a clio ;)
having troulbe with my front seats as well.
have followed eddes guide, and have just one more set of wires to connect together. the lights still on tho :dapprove:
you need to go maplins and buy some resistors, then connect the cables together that are in pairs in the connector blocks.
some pics of mine, agree with the comments that sports arent the 'be all and end all' as some of the people on here think, i've thoroughly enjoyed modifying my car, and wouldnt dream of swapping it for a sport, like my petrol consumption and insurance too much :) anyway some pics to keep on topic ;)
sports kit hasnt got the sport front bumper in it (trust me if it had there would be alot more people on here with it), its purley a splitter, sides and rear valance, nothing like the 182 front bumper
oh and if you want show car, i'd do something different as this has already been done.
think your right, a nice light anthracite would look good on a naples, better than black i think anyway. Gold would look good also, with the red it'd look like christmas decoration :clown:
you can fit a 205 profile and shouldnt have any problems unless its lowered substancially. you'll find rim protection, is a solid lip that overhangs the alloy slightly to stop it curbing so badly. i had some kumho i think on my punto with rim protection and didnt think they did a bad job. the...
was some on ebay a little while ago, and in all honesty they didnt look that great. really do think you have to stick with silver, white gold or black ;)
you can fit it to a 1.2 without the wings and the sideskirts - its been done a couple of times. however to do it properly it costs a huge amount - if you dont and bodge bend it to fit the line of the bumper will be out, a cup splitter wont fit naturally and it looks poor and a waste of money...
