clear ones you can get off ebay - but make sure you try and go for the genuine renault ones as they're nicer.
ive got black ones on mine, but its down to personal choice.
think they're around about the 10-15quid mark.
pretty certain vinnys got that rear bumper no his, and looks nice in real life. although i see what u mean about paying for a 172 and changing the best bodywork bits
thats what i'm thinking, because ive got carbon bits all over the car, and u dont really notice em till they catch the sun anyway. Bodyshop wants 80 quid to fill in the holes so its worth a go anyway
found a few from the archives ;)
Has doing his best to make my car shiney
old pic in dark
will try to take some better pics later, looks like a normal black bonnet in all the others
^ me too :D
ive currently got the 'domed 3d' carbon number plates, but have gone off them a bit - but wanted something with a bit of detailing.
garf172 - the above were actually a standard size that they do. i can measure them if your interested though?
yeah i have, but ive found it almost impossible to get a good pic of the carbon bonnet from a distance as it just looks black lol.
can grab some when it has a polish later this week tho :approve:
-80mm with a 172 rear bumper is the only way to go lol.
in saying that theres a few on the forum now with black 1.2's whove opted for it. i always thought dan pages 1.2 looked really nice, and that was just colour coded with the standard rear bumper.
altho, its a shame not to fit the...
a specific air filter will come with the adapter plate. this screws onto the base (rectangular) then this braches out into a pipe to which you can connect the air filter.
once you've purchased your induction kit it really will be obvious how it goes on :)
lol - copycat ;)
if you want some carbon ones ive got a set for sale. also got some out of a renaultsport in silver with the 'carbon effect' on them.
mark.
lol - your not biased at all tho are you.
have got front and backs made small, but completely forgot about the holes, and annoyingly the back holes are right on the edges of the plate - so i'd need a conventionally sized plate to cover them.
am just speaking to some people about having...
^^ i considered that - but i laugh at people whove debadged their cars and put bungs in, so its gotta be done right.
i'm seriously tempted to get a nice sheet of carbon fibre and fill the recess with it - its just mega expensive for the good stuff
....would it look naff if i had a sheet of carbon fibre made to the size of the recess?? and then stuck the little number plate on top. not sure meself, but it might go with the bonnet and other things ive got lol
