Stop planting ideas into my head! I had to arse-lick the insurers enough as it was!! ;)
Ah, nice one. The premium went up for me moving back here temporarily by about £50. OL7 postcodes must be more risk than BL9, I guess? Looking into another place for myself will be extra difficult now with...
Jesus - I had all of those bar the TOCA one on the PS1. The Test Drive follow up (The Duel) was the one that kick-started my love for the Porsche 959. To this day, I would buy one of those in a heartbeat if I won big-style on the Lottery!
Buggy Boy was simply epic on the Amiga. It came with...
Hehe! Cheers Ste! It still hasn't sunk in yet - it really hasn't. I walked into the utility room earlier and even before switching on the light, just saw the rear end of the spoiler through the window. So OTT, so ostentatious, it's a definite Marmite car!
Any more interest/luck at the Scoob...
Some may recall reading Calum's thread from late December....

Well, she's finally landed into my mitts.
Everything happened really quickly. Perusing CS one day, I noticed a VI...
Probably GTR2 for me (as being the favourite). They just got so much right for the time when the graphics didn't look particularly dated. Tip-toeing a Porker GT2 around Donington Park, knowing that you're shaving little tenths off here and there on your times, is pure brilliance. Forza 4 is...
It certainly has potential from the looks of it!
I'm no scenery snob - but even in this beta, it looks like they could have paid a little more attention to the crowds, etc. They just look like flat-2D images from the original GTR of 2005.

What are you on about, Porkie? Andy doesn't need to toughen up. It takes skill, patience and untethered violence to become known as a 'Cup Killer'.

For every 'horror story' - you forget the ocean of utter spacktards that waltz through the doors, expecting a Cray-powered desktop for under a hundred quid; that's seemingly capable of fixing itself and doing everything you demand of it with the press of a single button.
And no, I don't work...
The Batman games are very good as they work brilliantly with the 360 controller.
Forza 4 is great (by far the most common game I fire up the 360 for) and DIRT3 is a good alternative too. Again, suits the 360 pad very well. Supposedly the top line FPS games like BF3 and MW3 are also good, but...
The thing is, it's a start. Like I said, if they somehow take off, then potentially the door is wide open for more powerful/capable options. I'll be keeping an eye out on these for sure - purely for curiosity's sake, if nothing else.

Trouble is m8 - one of the most acclaimed titles that Sega 'released' in recent months is Shogun 2. I just don't see consolers buying that in droves? :) I'm assuming that Sega has completely removed any interest in hardware these days?
D.
You should do - for a laugh, like you say! ;)
I'd probably throw-up on the spot if I knew just how much money I'd plunged into cars over the years. Your's does sound like a 'benchmark case' however - lol!

^^^ - Please tell me that that above is a typo?
For the OP, I hope it works out good for you? I've been an utter bellend in the past and been on the giving end of ranting and raving at people who have nearly caused accidents and then try to blame me. In particular a driver who did...
Can of whoop-ass on said dad.
Did a round trip of 500miles today with my old man (in his car, I hasten to add) to go looking at a car for me. Tell him to stop being tight and that you'll pay the petrol to go on viewings.... ;)

Only heard about these last week at work. The sky is the limit if these things take off. They will make giving out Powerpoint presentations and assorted PDFs on a USB stick look positively archaic.
A marketeers dream.

I've personally never looked back from getting the BG's alloys done in black over the standard amphasite. I wish I'd done it years earlier, tbh. When cleaned and with some decent tyre gel on, the profile view of a black-on-black 182 looks superb.

Flol - quality.
That said, I'm genuinely interested to see what comes of the next console offerings. Hopefully this will kick-start the cross-platform games market to a new level of development and hardware demands.
For a consoler's perspective, I hope better hardware allows them the...
I don't think I've ever come across such a set of opposing views on one game before. Between the game sites/media and joe public players....:S

I like the VXR and surprisingly, they aren't that common around here.
Shame that Vauxhall decided to go all S-Line and make that 1.2 model look pretty similar to a VXR. Dilutes the flagship spec, imo.

Had a blat again (on PC) earlier again. Extremely rusty at it (like woefully bad!) but all aids switched off and advanced driving settings are the only way to go!
Had a time trial on Kenya straight off and got something like 2.47. It preloaded the current 'world record' ghost car for me "cool -...
What if you're not even at that Rank to have a riot shield? To have to wait until you can obtain an unlock before you can circumvent an obvious flaw in the game is piss poor design, imo.
