Interesting........
The first Crysis was tailored directly towards the glorious PC master race. So the fact the sequel pared back the hardware demands in favour of something that would run on a console did not go down well.
The game's reception reflects this, and has perhaps led to a...
PMSL. That's opened the flood-gates to make the game even worse. Jesus H. Christ. Now we'll have thousands of people online desperate to get THE latest accessory in the game - as they are several years behind. While doing that, will they actually be playing the game? I doubt it.
Clever, Valve...
I've had a Seagate fail on me before - but given the quantity I've had, it's not been too bad. I usually have those or Western Digi's in PCs I build.
Anything on Earth is better than Maxtor. I was shocked, horrified and scared to realise that our Mitel phone switches use Maxtor drives in them...
As soon as I saw F.E.A.R 3 mention on the 'net, I was going to raise a thread for Munson. I decided to let him do it himself anyway... ;)
From the screenshots I've seen, has anything progressed since the 2nd game? Looks very samey to me?

My brother-in-law has been linking up his keyboards to his PC and trying out a few apps in the process. Nearly all seem to support VST plugins, but none that we've come across actually tell you how to install/use them?
Most appear to be .dll files which I presume would require registering on...
All of the points above are what niggle me slightly about considering a 200. A cars' ability will for me, always outshine cosmetic features. That said, I've yet to drive a 200 and I may simply find it to be a refined 182. If so, then great. But if it dulls the handling and feedback of the 182 in...
How come it takes that long Danny? Is there a lot to remove first? I had an advisory for a weeping sump gasket today - no probs I thought and enquired on the price all the same. I nearly burst out laughing when they quoted £361 inc.VAT for the job. The few sump jobs I've been involved with in...
Royston - that should be (and could be) a distinct possibility. However, I was led to believe that it was down to the game itself and how flexible it's config was that easily allowed seperate Physx processing? I've only ever dabbled with an old AGEIA Physx card - so the whole area may have moved...
Yep, I completed it. Liked it overall, with some good set pieces. But the enemy AI barely moved and to the most basic of cover when under fire. The amount of times I could kill an enemy behind cover as it/she/he showed their shoulder or head above the parapet was silly. Nothing at all like some...
They won't be our saviours unfortunately - so long as the bean-counters in charge necessitate a console version too. As much as I'd love to believe that a hardcore 'fcuk-consoles' group of staff are beavering away in Crytek on the next PC-only release, it just isn't going to happen. :(

Welcome Marc!
We're all ages on here - so you'll be fine. ;) Be prepared to be hassled by quite a few people on here if you're knowledgable about the modded Fords - they have a significant appreciation on here. Gally and Deeg in particular....
The general consensus about the Phase 1 cars is...
The kit of choice for that role my good man, is the recon with motion mines and an uber-powerful shotgun. They need to get to that M-COM to unarm it and its easy to make mincemeat out of them while they try!
