I played and completed all of those BiA games - I thought they were great.
Looks like Tom Clancy's stuff is offer at the minute. Tbf, only the HAWX stuff really interests me. I've never yet played a Splinter Cell game, though I did like the Rainbow Six games.

This game is no good for your stress levels! When you finish behind the stage leader by less that a second, you feel compelled to beat it. The whole sequence of bends is then buggered by one tiny mistake and you have to do the stage again! My biggest issue is correcting the car to make it go...
Nice one m8! Do you not find the uber-powerful rally cars just a little bit silly though? I used a 750bhp Scooby in some co-op head-2-head with my m8 and it was like playing with super-fast hovercraft.
Not tried the G25 on this yet, but the graphical improvements on the PC version are pretty...
FLOL! My download finished overnight (the beauty of having broadband that maxes out at 160kbs :() - so I'm having a bash on the PC version now. Will be interesting to compare it to the 360 controller too. Using that first, before using the G25. I'm suspecting the wheel configured with very light...
Few racing games get me selecting the 'Restart' option when I've done something wrong - but this one does! On one race on the career mode, I restarted it a good 8 or 9 times this afternoon, as I just wasn't happy with my stage time. Cracked it in the end though.
Nothing beats a subtle, long...
I get the feeling that this will either be superb, or a complete flop. There will be no middle-ground, I reckon. I might hang fire until the initial reviews come out, but part of me thinks about pre-ordering it anyway.

Seems really weird that this could affect the clutch. I'm guessing that it's a lengthy process to gain access to - hence why the garage is being so defensive about it?
Hope you get it sorted...

Much preferred the original game to the follow up. Pretty much in the same way with Crysis too.
They kickstart an idea - run with it and create something truly memorable and then drop the ball on the sequel.

On the shelf in the attic, unpainted and collecting dust for the past 3 years! :)
Much prefer the look with them off tbh. Makes the alloy/wheel area look more 'mechanical' if that's the right phrase - less form, more function, if you get what I mean.

Got this on the 360 yesterday, so got lumbered with the thumb-twiddler. To be fair, the amount of opposite lock I'm chucking in makes the analogue stick really quite useful to control the car(s) well - much more 'in control' than say on Forza 3 where I find I'm correcting then over-correcting a...
Tried that and it didn't make any difference m8. That said, the Broadcom driver dates back to 2005 and it's being updated as part of the Windows Update. 160MB+ and that is coming through ok...
I'm thinking it might be down to overall distance? We have two PCs (of which this is one) at the...
I think I'll get this when it drops in price on Steam. I've got the original in the Enhanced Edition pack and that was pretty good. I liked the small novella that came with it too.

I tried the enamel one after the plastic model paint reacted. Clutching at straws, I guess. ;)
No m8 - super smooth as a matter of fact. I'd even left them over two days since the last coat of paint (I did a really good job on them - for me anyway, as well :() before applying the lacquer...
Right chaps - this is something silly and frustrating, that clearly is so obvious that I'm not seeing it!
At one of our depots, we have the typical 100mbps network setup - 10/100 switch in there, a small file server and about half-a-dozen Windows XP PCs. On one PC, I've picked up on the fact...
That's intersting Dave. It's the Halford's lacquer that I used. Strange how it reacted to the Halfords black enamel spary paint and also some model-shop black plastic paint too in exactly the same way. It just bubbled the paint on the bullets like mad.
Either I'm using the wrong combination of...
Black gold, as all owners know....
Scratches simply looking at it
Shows up every bit of dirt that floats in the earth's atmosphere
Is a b**ch to PC (at times)
...and generally looks good, about 2% of the time.
I gave the 182 a quick wash before setting off for work yesterday, and even with...
What lacquer do people put on painted bullets? The last two attempts I've done, it's reacted very badly to the paint on the bullets themselves - both plastic paint and enamel based paint.
Any suggestions would be muchos appreciated.
Cheers,
D.
Mudflaps are a dirty word on CS (apparently?). One mention of them makes everyone think you'll be attaching a ground-hugging 5ft x 6ft section of red plastic and splattering Sparco stickers on them.
They should be available as standard - or at least have some form of cill protector attached to...
I've never understood that. It's a straight-forward USB connection after all. Surely Microsoft can't be THAT focused against a Logitech product? :S
It would open up the whole beauty of the G2* series of wheels to the 360 owners. That said, for the life of me, I cannot understand why Microsoft...
