As Steven said - the optical drives are the weakest link. Legacy technology that's cheap - so people just put up with it. I'd always go for 7.2k drives myself over 5.4k, however. D.

Part of me thinks whether or not I'll even bother with MW3. Just seems so old hat to me now - unless of course they really push the boat out and make me think 'Wow!" on a demo or equivalent. The developers are probably spending 25% of their time on generating game modes and promoting team-play...

Do you have a specific require for mATX, m8? Is it just space consideration? The onboard Radeon 3000 will really be pushed if you're doing heavy usage of Photoshop, etc. But as you say, if you're planning on getting a better gfx card at a later date, then that should be fine. Just be wary of...

Definitely. I've only ever seen two in the flesh as well. I think petrol blue combined with some subtle black bits would look absolutely epic. A photoshop of that above, lowered slightly on some black 2118's or even Turinis (yes, Turinis!) - would be superb. :) D.

They had arty in Battlefield 1942 - which required the scout class to identify targets for (getting a familiar vibe here - it's all be done before already... ;)) In Desert Combat, they even had SCUD missile launchers and the American MRLS system.... D.

It really took until the free mod Desert Combat (for Battlefield 1942) before gen-u-wine mobile AA came into effect. Made aircraft much less one sided than before - unless they were really good pilots to begin with. Having static AA turrets was a bit pointless imo - as the good pilots always...
