Re: Steam
Definitely not. :)

Completed the original CoH campaign last night and now on the third mission into the Opposing Fronts campaign. Fecking awesome it is - this will be my...
I don't think it's possible yet, m8. I would assume that Outlook would have to be an authorized application for Gmail access?
Not quite sure on the 2-step verification process myself with regards to this.

Yep - over 200 hours on it ;) Managed to complete all the campaigns on Expert too - now that is fecking hard. One touch by the witch and you're insta-dead - and the tank is a bullet-sponge.
Might be on one night this week for a bash. You're on the ClioSport Steam group, aren't you?

Nab XnView m8. It comes complete with nConvert (which is also free). Never used the batch conversion to adjust that many files in one go, but it would be interesting to see if it could handle it?
You'll need the Setup file - don't bother with the Zip file...

It has been pretty scalable over the years too. Games like Dark Messiah and Vampire : The Masquerade pulled off some good features using the Source engine.

Your expectations must have been bloody high then!
HL2 was morbid, weird, slightly depressing but massively entertaining on first release. To then have that improved on by Episodes 1 and 2 makes it one of the best games of the last decade.
If you didn't appreciate (not necessarily like) HL2...
I love the YouTube clips where people with a pistol go bam-babam-bam-bbam and nail three people like 300 metes away. The last time I ventured anywhere near a CS game, I did much better firing blindly with a pistol than actually taking time with a gun that was half decent!
I know it's not meant...
The developers of that need to be hunted down by Leeroy, the homosexual silverback gorilla, for an intimate and lengthy botty inspection. Brushed aside by hackorz, it did/does nothing other than cripple genuine buyers of the games. It still cracks me up how early StarForce enabled games often...
Really. Do we really need to develop utter horse like this....?

Some clever sod managed to draft up the Helmsdeep setting from Lord of The Rings and chuck it into L4D2. Complete with the original music from the film, you simply have to hold out against hordes of the undead. Stupid, silly but really quite fun. Apparently (unlike the typical Survival Mode map)...
Lol! I don't like CS or CSS, but I'd feel sorry for the fans of it, if it ends up as another TF2 fiasco. What they've done to that game is borderline criminal. I reinstalled TF2 at weekend and as the progress bar moved along to the right, I thought "WhyTF am I actually installing this?"
It will...
Easily. Make sure you backup your saved games though. I had an arse-clenching moment when I thought I'd lost mine at around 70 hours in. I hadn't, thankfully - but it's easy to do!

Re: Steam
Lol - not sure m8! I've only got about a dozen games installed at the minute after I reformatted the PC last month. That said, I know Shogun II takes around 27GB itself....

Re: Steam
You more than likely would! My biggest issue with any RTS is that I spend too much time base-building rather than dealing with the task at hand. A get nailed by any opposition who has the tank-rush tactic in mind. :)

Re: Steam
Login on your online account from the main menu m8 and it should say that updates are required. If you Alt+Tab to the desktop, the Relic downloader should be seen on your taskbar which will automatically get the updates for you....

Re: Steam
I never, ever got into that. I had such high hopes for it too having played RA2 to death. WTF EA has done to the C&C franchise over the years is beyond belief. I also made the mistake (severe mistake) of buying C&C4 in the Steam Sale. Utter tripe. I had to laugh when on C&C4 I quit...
Probably this. My m8's 172 had the drain underneath the washer bottle blocked with leaves, small twigs etc. That leaked into his passenger's footwell - so it maybe the same on your driver's side?

I'd just nipped to the NatWest in Darwen and was parked near the Post Office. I followed it a few cars back - heading back towards the M65 junction.

Makes for a welcome change of modern-day/future settings for me though.
However, I'm increasingly more interested in playing the evil side in such games. Having vampiric or necromancy tendancies is much better than being a soft-arse holier than thou character imo. :)

Re: Steam
Got to admit - they are pretty impressive! One of those things that's often under-used - even by myself. They offer great cover (slightly weird) for your snipers too.
Have you been using the 3-man sniper tactic yet? A disproportionately high cost vs manpower - but they are the...
Re: Steam
Yes.
Select British side in a skirmish. Select 1x Normal Wehrmacht opposition and 1x Normal Panzer Elite. Collect hero status when you've defeated them. ;)
I agree on the Steam version too. But to be fair, the Relic Downloader in the background is a very good auto-patcher.
