Re: Steam
Seriously m8 - if you get this and get 'into' it - it's simply brilliant. My favourite game mode at the minute is teaming up with a m8 online in co-op to go against a few AI bots. Even on Normal difficulty, the AI can be a right fecker at times!
I would strongly advise playing...
Re: Steam
Still less than a tenner now. Looks like an easy decision to me. :)

Re: Steam
Steam is/are superb. I even fecked up and bought a DLC for a non-Steam game (accidently I hasten to add!) - and they refunded my account. Despite the fact that they repeatedly say that no refunds pretty much ever. Maybe having 110+ games registered with them will have helped. ;)
I'd...
Quite probably. But when I last dabbled with SLi, the results were less than impressive vs. the cost. I bought a 7900GTX at about £245 when they were good cards to get. Later, a bought the same card again off eBay for £99 from a chap in Scotland.
SLi'd those mofos together and felt smug in my...
Complete with white alloys - which looked brilliant against the red of the bodywork.
Looked like it had a For Sale sticker in the window too.
Approx 4pm.

I'm with you on this.
I'm increasingly becoming disillusioned with multiple cards. I've had SLi in the past and currently in Crossfire with two 4890s. Tbh, I don't think the extra expense, fitment and cabling - not to mention power draw is actually worth it. So few games actually fully utilise...
Always gets worse when the weather's hot. In winter I don't think I ever get the creaking noise.
Started happening on mine about 30k ish. Had the clutch replaced along with the 84k service and all was silent. Put on 1,200+ miles during the Scotland road-trip and by the time I got back, the...
Easy to setup, but INFURIATING to administer on a day-to-day basis. The phpbb forums come across as being slightly elitist too - "What? You mean you don't know the answer to that already?" ;)
Never administered vbulletin (or alternatives) before, so I can't really compare.

My offisde rear bearing either went or was very close to it. Made a droning noise at certain speeds, though seemingly quiet at others. Might be worth replacing the rear discs as the bearings come with them.

This. :)
So many are trashed, smashed or rotted to dust - I just don't see many of them anymore. I've had a soft spot for them since learning to drive in a 1.2 Nova back in '92. ;)

H - were you at Blackburn Asda yesterday perchance? I parked next to a silver 182 when I went in - I don't think it's the one that's normally there?

Bully - the HP Officejet 8000 series is a great colour inkjet - pretty damn cheap on the inks too. Below is the wireless version, but they do a non-wireless one as well....

If you don't fancy going into Europe - have you been to Scotland before?

FLOL. Seriously. Have you seen the retail prices on replacement parts for a Vee?
If it does the job with larger washers and is clearly out of sight being underneath the car - it will be worth a LOT more than that - damaged or not.
