mate, as you say you havent even taken it about 4.5 k revs yet and that is where all the power is, under that and it is like a 1.2!
Give it a chance, sounds to me like you are trying to find faults with it and arent prepared to just take it out and put some miles on it to get through that...
have already purchased renault pads now and had them fitted as it was one of those spur of the moment things.
They said that the brake fluid I have it losing all its good nutrients etc. because of the stick I have given it so it needs changing, they recommended that I go to 5dot (or dot5, not...
Yes mate, that would be good, I am free Wednesday if thats OK with you?
Will look out for the bullet on the A404 then, make sure you recki it first for those nice camera vans! ;)
I am off to Bluewater tomorrow night for their meet to see what Tomclio182s H&S exhaust looks and sounds like...
yes the brakes on the 182 must be different as I keep hearing from 172 and cup owners about brake fade but I have never heard a 182 owner complain about it and as Lee said, around Spa I was lapping happily without any fade whatsoever.
The downside is that I had a service at the weekend and the...
ok, i cant really remember the exact result for cocpops, it was around 120 atw initially and then his second run was around 130 I think, mine was 142 atw I think which they worked out to be 184bhp but lots of people contested it and it ended in arguments but I was happy anyway.
Even though...
he means whether it is a UK originated car or an imported one, not which area it was first registered Rob.
I would go with calling Renault with the reg number, they should have it on theur system.
of the 3 track days I have done I can honestly say I cannot recall the ABS ever engaging, it is not intrusive and I have been braking VERY hard.
I have driven both, but unfartunately not the ctr on a track although i have been up against one on the track and there really wasnt much in it but I...
yeah, the dealer mentioned that, said it was 4dot in there and i should look to going to 5dot as the track was taking the nutrients/useful stuff out of the standard due to the work out i was giving it.
anybody else done that in their 182?
Quote to do it was £75
yes i am geting them from mytyres too and claiming the £10 per tyre like tom.
in y service they used mobil1 0w40 as they said thats what they have been told to put in by renault? The only other they had was 10w40. Charge on the bill was £10 a litre x 5 but that was obviously included in the...
the click thing I believe is a feature and not a problem, I had a 1.2 16v courtesy car yesterday and that did it, my mums puma does it, my brother 1.2 clio does it, my dads megane does it, my old fiesta did it so most of the cars i have ever driven have done it, good luck.
when i was down at my local renault earlier for my service I asked one of the salesman if they had one in yet and he said no, and they probably wouldnt ever have one as they are a waste of time and they will not be selling them if they can help it. Said it was too close in price to the 182 and...
mine was in for a service today and i told them about the rattling passenger seat and they said there is nothing they can do with it as it isnt the runners (they could just replace those) so looks like I will have to turn the stereo up!
sorry mate, i was replying to the post above mine which is talking about the clutch, it went a bit off topic.
The clunk you feel when you first move off, or reverse when getting in the car is the ABS doing a self check and is normal on all 182s you should feel somehting touching through the...
the click from the clutch happens in a lot of cars, my ford did it and my mums ford does it, my 182 does it sometimes, there is a reason for it and someone explained it on here recently, wouldnt worry about it though.
