From some one who has done it before, you could buy a straight one for the money it would cost to repair.
That's traditionally why insurance companies "write cars off"
If some one said to me "I'm going to do the lips of my wheels in chequered squares" I'd say it would look sh*t, but that actually looks good.
Centres need to black I reckon though
That sounds fucked. Check all the nuts and bolts along the system first. Things are prone to rattle on exhaust, with the varying amounts of vibration. Could be the springs on the manifold kit rattling, they're just infront of the cat. Could also be a loose heatshield or loose exhaust mounts...
I'd be going with engine mounts as well. If it were coming from the exhaust knocking, you'd hear it a lot more underneath the car, and it'd be very obvious.
Mini.
Addz came over today for the cleaning session I'd promised him for at least 8 months. So we got stuck in on his new car. Personally I'm a massive fan, and think it was a good move to sack the vee. So much so that I'm seriously considering the finance on owning a GP :o
Anyway, pictures...
Call me superficial or posing, but a rotary supercharger wouldn't do it for me, it's the whine that does it for me. Plus you run into all sorts of problems with boosting a car that isn't meant to be boosted.
Edit: It appears what I have just said about rotary superchargers is b****cks...
