Oddly enough, urine makes a brilliant screen wash, dilute down with a bit of water and it has similarly low freezing temperatures to the £10 bottles you buy at halfrauds. The amonia in it helps stop the water freezing see.

There is no specific switch to convert the beam patterns, no. Stickers are your only option iirc

normally it'll only ask you for the code if the battery's been disconnected, or if the radio's been unplugged. Could check for loose connectors at the back? Either way, I wouldn't worry too much, unless it starts doing it on a regular basis.
