I was in the US last month. There was free wifi pretty much everywhere I went, so in my experience you won't need data at all. Two weeks I was there and my extra charges amounted to £1.31 (for voicemail). Calling home was free. Facetime FTW!

You won't get emails without now being connected to a wifi network. Texts and calls will be unaffected. AFAIK anyway.

I turned cellular data off. Settings - General - Network - Cellular Data - Off I also changed the username for cellular data as well, just to be extra safe.

Looks great, good results. PB works well on the pre-facelift. ST-1 comes with few 'luxuries' and no traction control I think. ST-2 adds traction control, xenons and possibly a few other items. ST-3 then just adds full leather and is only a four seater.

You don't need Bluetooth for the hotspot function. Just turn hotspot on on your phone, then connect the iPad to it like you would any other wifi network.
