Yeah that's me on both accounts! Black dci with xenons and the ph1.
@Banksy654321 you got a private plate on your ph1? Think I've seen it going along south street a couple of times
In a word, fattening...
Was a good turnout! Think there was about 17 of us in total, maybe about 10 or 12 cars.
Cheers to everyone for coming along! Pleasantly surprised with the turnout we got for the first one. Now just to find something to do for next months.
Think I'll need to now. Delivery date on eBay says tomorrow (21st) but it's still not moved from where it was 22 days ago, so I think it's probably time to do that.
Wonder if it's just a busy time for customs with Christmas coming up, or if there is actually an issue. I was worried it was...
Pros drive straight over the roundabout and through the hedges into KK car park.
If you're coming along the M8 you'd be as well saving yourself some hassle and waiting until the traffic dies a bit. Being in Edinburgh would be a bonus though.
Been out in mine a couple of times now since fitting it. Not noticing any issues at all. I initially picked up on the slight flat spot I think Mendizmo mentioned but that seems to be gone now. Car will get a good run out tomorrow night so will see how that goes.
Extremely happy with the kit...
Yeah I really didn't think the time through very much. I work in Glasgow and the traffic tends to have died down a bit by that point but I didn't really consider when people would need to be leaving.
If folk want to leave a little later and try and avoid some of the traffic that's fine.
Yeah, we'll be there for a while so anyone coming along later just fire up a message on here. I'll make sure to keep an eye on it and let people know if we're still there.
I'll try and head through for between half 6 and 7 anyway, and we'll say 7 to meet up, but if you're going to be later it...
As I just mentioned above, times can be changed if it suits people better? 18:30 was just a rough time. I can't guess when suits everyone so I'm relying on feedback from you guys about what time suits best.
Bit of an uncalled for rant there.
I'm pretty sure he was just pointing out the fact that if you're on a bike there's a lot more chance of getting a serious injury if a tyre fails than when in a car.
I don't ride bikes but I know if I got a blowout the last thing on my mind would be "oh I...
The vouchers have a name on them :( easy enough to sign up and get one though! Or edit the name lol.
Ah cheers! Looking forward to putting it to the test this weekend.
Yeah, easiest way to describe it is the one you'd need unplug to remove the headlights from the car.
Could be a bad connection then. Xenons need a pretty steady input voltage to work. The dipped beam wire in the plug is the one next to the earth (I think). If you're looking into the plug with...
No idea if that's good or not tbh haha.
Was just thinking to test the connections on the main plug going into the headlight unit to rule out any wiring issues.
Welcome to CS :) lots of Scottish members joining up these days. I can't keep up!
Car looks good, as above colour coding makes the world of difference. RS grille, aero wipers, clean plates, silvervision indicator bulbs etc are all subtle things that can make a big difference.
I use a 21" blade on one side and a 22" one on the other and don't get any problems. Gets rid of the little triangle that never wipes at the bottom middle of the window.
Your wiper arms aren't lined up properly if they're catching.
Could swap the igniters over as well to rule those out. But if they're both not working now I'd be inclined to say it's an issue with wiring somewhere. Bad earths maybe?
Ordered myself one of these off the link in the OP last month and it's still not arrived. Tracking info says it's still at UK customs. Anyone else had any issues like this?
