    What have you ordered? *Detailing*

Good value microfibres you say? I think I may have went overboard tbh [emoji23]

    sburrell's ph1 172 track project (maybe)

What makes the stealth drone? (Obviously the shape of the tip but why?) The backbox that's on the car just now though goes straight out the back and still drones like f**k! I measured it with a decibel meter, and under acceleration (inside the car) it peaks over 100dB(C)...

    sburrell's ph1 172 track project (maybe)

Sounds like it'll be quieter than mine anyway which is all i'm after. Will decide further down the line if it's still too loud. Been quoted around £100 for an unsilenced mid section from a local place, or about an extra £20 for a silencer in it. Will be heading in tonight to discuss it with...

    sburrell's ph1 172 track project (maybe)

There may be a backbox up for sale soon then [emoji23] Is it a liveable/bearable drone though @dmallett? The one I have just now genuinely leaves you a bit deaf feeling after a journey at a motorway speeds lol. If it's better than that I can live with it. It's not a daily at the end of the...

[Dec 18, 2014] Scotland South Monthly Meet (Glasgow)

There's always a first and last page button no matter how many pages there are though? There's also a little arrow appears if there's loads of page numbers that lets you scroll the numbers to select a particular page. If this was on the old forum this would probably just be a locked thread...

[Dec 18, 2014] Scotland South Monthly Meet (Glasgow)

Fair play actually, that's a good point. I'll keep it in mind for January's meet. I obviously don't want to start organising these in a way that no one is going to find them, but if the threads are going to get stickied, then surely it's just as simple to have this one thread in the sticky...

[Dec 18, 2014] Scotland South Monthly Meet (Glasgow)

I can write the most recent updates in a post every month and tag you in it if that's easier for you? ;) lol That's a fair idea, but the thing is these meets aren't designed to be the main big ones, but doing that makes it seem that way. They're just a monthly get-together for new and old...

[Dec 18, 2014] Scotland South Monthly Meet (Glasgow)

The forum automatically takes you to the first unread post in the thread though? The OP will be updated each time with all the info on it anyway, so there would be no need to search through previous posts to find out anything about it. I'm not trying to be awkward, I just genuinely don't see...

    Scottish Specialists, share your recommendations

Got my car going into SWR on Thursday for the belts, dephaser etc. Good to know it'll be in safe hands.

[Dec 18, 2014] Scotland South Monthly Meet (Glasgow)

What difference will it make though? Genuine question. I don't see how it'll make it any more visible.

    What Snow Foam Please?

It's meant to be completely wax safe. I've not used it enough to say one way or another but a friend has used it regularly on his car which was waxed with AF desire and illusion a couple of months ago and that was still beading well when I saw it at the weekend.

    What Snow Foam Please?

Another vote for autobrite magifoam here. Clings for ages and always impresses me with cleaning power

[Dec 18, 2014] Scotland South Monthly Meet (Glasgow)

Again I did wonder that, but I don't see how a new thread would make things any different apart from having no replies in it. The title will still be exactly the same.

[Dec 18, 2014] Scotland South Monthly Meet (Glasgow)

I considered it but we're trying to keep the monthly ones to the 3rd Thursday of every month. That's what we aimed for anyway. Also there wasn't a lot of responses for the Monday on the poll in the other thread. Can always do it as a separate meet in future! I'll tag people tonight when I'm...

    sburrell's ph1 172 track project (maybe)

Hmm, droney is what I'm trying to avoid. I'll see how it goes though. Either way it'll look better than what's on it! Going to go custom for the centre section anyway I think. £120 for essentially a straight bit of pipe from ktec is ridiculous. Will get an unsilenced one made up and if it's too...

    Cup friendly Mot centres Fife

I would've thought any half decent garage would know about the brake bias on them. @Fraser.J. @Arran_ @neil a one of you's might be able to help?

    sburrell's ph1 172 track project (maybe)

Yeah, knockhill's noise limit is pretty high though is it not? 105dB or something. Also, I've never thought your car was that loud anyway tbh Fraser! I can deal with a bit of loud, just don't want something that'll drone. Can't seem to find any videos specifically of the ktec stealth with...

    sburrell's ph1 172 track project (maybe)

I was thinking go for the supersports since it's not a daily or anything, but I don't want to end up decatting it and it ends up stupidly loud! Wheels are getting refurbed and powdercoated after winter, so the centre caps will be getting painted then. Although I do want then on now, looks awful...

    sburrell's ph1 172 track project (maybe)

Boring 'not-so-track-car' update, but after buying myself a DA at the end of last week, I attacked the front end to try and bring it up a bit, remove a few marks, and generally get it covered in some form of protection if it's going to be sitting over winter. Bonnet came up reasonably well...

[Dec 18, 2014] Scotland South Monthly Meet (Glasgow)

Ok lads, next months meet will be at Xscape Braehead in Glasgow. We will keep this thread going, and the OP and event details will be updated with any changes on location/time each month. Best thing to do is subscribe to this if you want to keep on top of what's happening for these monthly...

Keep an eye on the Monthly meet thread then :) that'll be updated regularly with info on the next one.

    Awrite everyone

Welcome mate. Hope I'll be seeing this at the next meet ;) Should be on the week of 15th December over Glasgow way if you're up for it.

Graham's OCD ph2 DCi sport rep

Sitting nicely on the sportlines! Are both your calipers completely free? Only thing I can think of causing uneven braking force would be the caliper sticking slightly. What you after for the pin outs as well? I can get wiring diagrams so might have what you're after.

    Scottish Newbie

Car looks good. A clean RB is one of the best colours! Next monthly meet will be over Glasgow way on the week beginning 15th December (most likely the Thursday) if you're interested mate!

    The XBox One Thread

May have been mentioned already but Sunset Overdrive is currently free to download (for the next 24 hours apparently) to mark the console's 1st birthday. Got to downloading now, hopefully get playing it tomorrow!

    Detailing Chat & Questions Thread

This sounds like a silly question but what's the best way to go about cleaning pads? @gally Just run them under water and give them a bit of a scrub?
