Ricky P is doing it. Got abs rings to go on and I checked the cat was fitted when I viewed the car initially. As I've only had it a short time it's a bit of an unknown as to what might crop up.
So I'm a bit nervous today. The car is in for belts etc and needs the abs sorting and the EML investigating. I'm sat expecting a call to say it's £XXX more than I have approval to spend on it
Then I can get on with enjoying it and finally explore the upper rev range without the belt anxiety.
Looks sound enough, ask when the belts were last changed before travelling anywhere though. You should definitely be prepared to do some miles to find the right car.
I knew hair bear when I had my 225 f1 and remember when he got this one. He spared no expense on his cars but they got used properly too! Where it's been since he sold it on may well be another tale though.
That curb scares me near those fresh turini's! Looks like it has some chunky spacers on there too. I'd be looking at lowering it a bit though.

And that's why all these old hatches are sillt money now. All us old farts want another to relive our youth but there's not enough cars to go around. I see 8v integrale's are fetching £10k now. Just WOW!

When I passed my test at 18 my mum had a micra that was due for replacement, how I talked them into getting a 106 Xsi I don't know! Had some great fun in that little car. I had a mint 106 gti too, bought brand new in 98, China Blue, great car that my mum took over when I went abroad!
I'm older...
I went to the last one, only saw a couple of renaults. First one of been to since selling my megane in 2008.
I've never been to Newby Hall so might check the date on that one.
