I'm from Garforth originally, not been back in many years though. It's the Podger still running? I crawled home from there many a time!
P. S. Add me to the list too.
I've been slacking and have too much to do, no go for me I'm afraid.
There's a guy from these parts who competes in a liquid yellow 5 GTT, look out for him.
Plans didn't last long did they? No fiddling, just replace when needed, turini's bought and off to paint! You'll need to replace the springs next then, and probably the map, maybe the inlet as there's a group buy ongoing atm.
This is going to be a good read, I can just tell!
The more I read about this the more I suspect my 182 is such equipped. Mines nothing like a 172 I looked at which was very lumpy when cold and had a big kick at 5k. This was supposed to be a standard car with a stainless exhaust, I suspect an induction kit was fitted to a the airbox feed pipe...
They use of the shelf silencers and pipes /bends and build it on your car. I think they give lifetime guarantee too. It's worth looking into as your only other option is probably a shiny tailpipe bolt on from halfords!
Did you swap the master cylinder? If it was pulling before the 4 pots went on then there was an issue before, probably amplified by the 4 pot power. If it pulls again with the standard calipers then you'll know that the 4 pots are just making it worse.
We've all been there. Hopefully it will sell on here and get a restoration. Credit to you for keeping hold of it for so long, longest I've owned a car is 5 years adn that was a crappy diesel auto!
I can confirm that it's on 195/45 Pilot Sport 3 all round. After crawling underneath today I can also confirm the cxhaust has a slight blow from the centre box and some hammerite is needed where a jack has removed some of the seal.
Gave it a vac and the front seats need attention as they have...
True, but if you know the car has had a repair any colour mismatch is going to play on your mind. And is not like LY is an easy or cheap colour to have done again!
I'm new too so would be up for a meet. Think my car needs lowering so would be interested in riding in some lowered cars to feel what the ride is like.
Yeah it has xenons, that's another thing to add to the list then. Thankfully there not pointing too high. Discs and pads look ok, it only does it for a couple of seconds when going really slow.
Cheers, I'm not sure what profile the rubber is, what was the standard size fitment?
Had a long run out at over the bank holiday and the car ran great, next day the emissions light has come on! Might have to book in at my trusty local garage for investigation.
Spring is finally here and upon leaving work at 4:30am the car was frozen over. Fired her up to defrost and noticed my...
Had a go at the offending headlamp today, It needs more work but at least I can see the indicator bulb now! Of course now those big orange blobs are causing offence so I looked into changing them. Seems it's not a 2 minute job so I think I'll leave it a while longer and do a bumper off job and...
Today I had a look at a couple of things, the radio and the interior light, neither of which worked. Radio first and after searching the forum it seems theres some confusion as to which radio should be in which model Clio. I'm still no clearer on that issue, but my offending part is this one:
I...
Ok so my radio doesn't work, it won't even turn on. I've pulled it out to check it had power and all is good. A search revealed that there are quite a few oem radios so should this one be in my 05 182?
These are the plugs at the back:
All were connected and I have no cd changer or anything...
