It was for me. For RPG'ness - Oblivion and Fallout play better. For FPS'ness - even Left 4 Dead feels better to play as a co-op game.
The biggest criticism of Borderlands I have is that it simply doesn't know what type of game it's trying to be. And hence doesn't do a good job of any genre.

Seemed awesome when I tried it on the Punto GT. Looked like liquid treacle streaks running down the side of my car! Proper before & after result, imo.

I was lucky enough for Chris to bob around to work last Friday - pre-new backbox fitting. Sounded awesome tbh, though standing near his car on mere tick-over, I ended up stinking of fumes! Lol.

I should contact them and Steam and ask for commission - lol. ;)
Touch wood - I've never had a problem with them. I suppose it's bound to happen at some point for me though.

Putting 17's on my Punto GT. Improved both the looks and motorway cruising speeds, no end. But they were massively heavy, killed the acceleration and made a quite nippy and light car into something quite sluggish. It never cornered well, but the 17s just made it even worse - lol.
Oh, and not...
That's the beauty of the original Crysis - and hopefully its sucessor too. The fact that the whole graphics interface is so flexible to the end user. Take Crysis at the minute. I have all things set to the highest they can be, but originally set AA to be 8x. However, if I drop the AA figure down...
Such a shame you don't get a quadruple award. I've managed that a few times where is scrolls through 4 enemies you've killed, but only gives you a Triple Kill award. :(
FINALLY managed to get my Distinguished Reliation Combat award just now. I've been on 5 Nemesis Pins and 4 Payback Pins for...
I almost forgot one of silly issues in this game and have just come across it again. :) The issue being with the helicopter gunships. Quite realistically, the missile launcher is the one to take these out, but you're fecked if you haven't got one. Any withering fire you hurl in the gunships'...
We've had HDMI ports for years. We could do that too..... if we were so inclined. ;)
Still rather be 3ft from a 26"-30" monitor though. Makes headshots a bit more up close and personal.

I think you'd prefer Warhead overall tbh - I seem to recall a lot more shooting going on it that. Did seem to finish a bit abruptly iirc - but what there was of it was really enjoyable.
Crysis still has me in awe at times - I really cannot believe that it's four years old. I ran through what...
Hahahahhhaaha! Hahhaaaahaahahahahhaha!!!
THAT for me is the comedy quote of the day. I'll be chortling to myself for the rest of Friday with that! ;)

The ONLY frustration I have with Crysis - and I've said this all along - is the bizarre multiple hit scenario you have on targets at mid to long range. Aside from that, it's epic. :)

Worked exactly like that m8. Just ignore what the game was telling me and proceeded to go up river. Got to the next part in the story and it carried on from there.
Thanks again. :)

Too goddamn right. It's a bloody UAV - not a guided cruise missile. :rasp:
It sure isn't. But when it ruins the fun in a game, then I have to question using the glitch in the first. And it is a glitch, because if it wasn't, they wouldn't have addressed it in a future patch - making C4 nigh-on...
I would actively hunt you down if you played this on the PC using jihad-jeep tactics.... ;)
EA/DICE should incorporate a fix for anyone bailing from a vehicle laden with explosive - should die in the explosion within 30ft. Idiots used to ruin BF2 by C4'ing the Humvees and pile-driving them into...
Yep, as Scutch says - the gaps between ranks get bigger and bigger. I'm on Rank 36 at the minute and that's after nearly 220hours.
I personally prefer Rush mode (even if there are quite a few map imbalances) - in particular on Port Valdez. I think I pretty much know every goddamn tree, rock...
ME1 was pretty good, though imo it did get a little repetitive at times. ME2 just blew that clean out of the water. Much better story. Much better character and weapon development. Definitely one of THE games of last year.
