OBD Wifi scanner not working/slow response

All the iPhone compatible ones are wifi. Apple don't allow the right bluetooth services for them to work with bluetooth, so the phone connects straight to the scanner just like you'd connect to the wifi router in your house. Still not sure what the issue is with it though, probably down to the...

    Not xenons or are they?

You will probably need new bulbs. The reflector lenses you have just now take H7 bulbs in the dipped beam but the projector lenses take D2S bulbs.

Different size doors. Needs to be from a 3 door unfortunately.

    Dci owners, help!

Ah right, I'll probably have a check of everything anyway, just to be safe. I just want to catch the pump early enough (if it is at fault) so that it doesn't f**k my injectors!

    Dci owners, help!

I'm hoping it's a simple sensor misread. I'll try and get it on to diagnostics, see if it's flagged anything up. Maybe try a leak off test too and get a look at the fuel, just to make sure there's no metal bits floating about. Raz, I'll try that. I take it the pump wont start causing any real...

    Dci owners, help!

It wasn't full throttle, I was accelerating pretty gently up to about 60mph in 5th gear. Car was still quite cold at the time so I was taking it easy. It's not remapped either, completely standard, besides having the egr unplugged.

    Dci owners, help!

All the lights went back off after a second or two of lifting off the throttle. The injectors were reconditioned about 50k miles ago, so I'm hoping it isn't that.

    Dci owners, help!

I usually would but I know if you wait until the fuel pump dies then the whole fuel system including injectors will probably end up needing replaced. There might be no problem, and I might be being paranoid, but I'd rather replace a fuel pump for a few hundred quid than have to get the whole...

    Dci owners, help!

I hate cars. The stop, glow plug and the red EML light with stop written in the middle come on when going to work this morning. No loss of power or anything. No injection fault in the dash diagnostics fault finding thingy. Car is still running and starting fine, although it did take a bit longer...

    Clutch Judder

I've used supermarket diesel and never really noticed much of a difference, although the engine does sound quite ticky under acceleration at times. I just put that down to the higher rail pressure on the 100 though

    Clutch Judder

Haha sounds like you've been lucky! Keep meaning to get a resistor onto the plug. I've not been running any two stroke through it, but I've been using some of that millers oils fuel additive. Tried a bottle of it to see how it went, so that could always be doing a similar thing. Nearly...

    Fuel pump (derv)

I don't think you can do that on these. It's all ECU controlled. Technically you can adjust the turbo to increase boost but the ECU won't get the right readings and will probably throw the car into a limp mode. It all needs to be mapped in basically. Injectors are different on the 65, but the...

    Fuel pump (derv)

Yup, same pump in the 65, 80 and the 100, just different rail pressures

    Clutch Judder

Can't be that, I can't remember the last time my egr was plugged in :o I think it's just down to the fuelling when cold Having the egr unplugged brings up the emissions light on the dash though for me though.

  21. sburrell93

    Clutch Judder

I never knew that. Would probably explain why it feels so sluggish when cold. Been a few times where I've pulled out onto roundabouts with loads of room, only for the car to have hardly any low down power and end up holding someone up who was miles away! Flol! And here's me worrying about...

    Clutch Judder

No gearstick judder on mine, but then again it's cable selector so that's probably why. Good to see it's just be the car being normal for once though and not causing me problems lol Yeah mine is the exact same lol, feel so much nicer to drive once warmed up!
  23. sburrell93

    Clutch Judder

Ah that's fine then, mines has only been doing it for a month or so! I think i'll be fine for another few months judging by that lol. Yeah, i'm pretty sure none of them have DMF's, just the mk3's
  24. sburrell93

    Clutch Judder

That's a bit of a relief then! I'll probably change the clutch at some point in the future anyway, but it's good to know it's nothing too serious at the moment, even if it is annoying lol Cheers! :D Edit: I'm pretty sure none of the mk2 dci's came with dual mass flywheels. Or I hope not...
  25. sburrell93

    Clutch Judder

That's exactly when it's happening mate. Pulling away from a standstill, changing from 1st into 2nd gear, sometimes happens going into 3rd. As I said though, only for the first couple of minutes driving when the car is cold, after that it's fine. Can feel it through the whole car, just sort of...
  26. sburrell93

    Clutch Judder

Now that you mention it, there is a bit of a noise coming from the box that sounds like it could be the release bearing, although it's not too noticeable atm. Wouldn't that cause judder all the time though? I'm stumped as to why it's only happening when the car is cold

    help...

This makes me sad to be Scottish. OT, since we have no pics, I'll offer up my opinion on what I've used. Farcela G3 scratch remover. Followed it up with AutoGlym SRP and it worked a treat on some larger scratches, but it's quite abrasive so you can end up making it worse if you're too heavy...

    Clutch Judder

Had a search, but nothing seems to really cover what I'm experiencing. When the car is cold or hasn't been driven in a while, I'm getting quite a bit of clutch judder on gear changes, but it goes away after a while. As far as I know, it's the original clutch that's on the car, but it doesn't...
