    How have the bearings been checked? serious question, not piss taking. I've had my rear bearings whining humming for ages, started out sounding like the gearbox, but definatly now bearings.

    Winding you up mate, I have no idea. Sounds like clutch, but if it's doing it only in 5th, more than likely gearbox related.

    You don't have a problem, or a cam coming on. But yes, it will feel more pronounced in the lower gears.
