In my opinion they cannot be beat pound for pound.. 35-40mpg is normal practice for a 1*2 quite easily! Tax is a gripe for me (£245) insurance is a pain in the arse also, apart from that, they're amazing for what they cost! Welcome btw!

My Exclusive has 117k on it, i bought it for £800. The belts were done at 79k. No idea when that was time wise. Will i get them done again? Unless its free, highly unlikley!

This is a good solid waste of time.

I do like a nice standard Phase 1 172. My Exclusive has done 117k and still gets 37-40 mpg, and pulls like a wee train! Great motors!

Aye and they slow it down from 130 just the same as the brembo's did on my 182. Im not in the buisness of spending 25% of the cars value on brakes.

I could not be hooped with that mpg for the performance it offers. 37mpg is where its happening.
