its the sender on the front of the block under the inlet manifold.
just put your hand down along the side of the alt and you can just see it through the gap between rad and alt. It should had a white clip on the connector plug IIRC.

Jut remove the plastic tube with the vacuum/solenoid attatchment on it. I took the solenoid off it, pluged it back in and left it there for peice of mind. Never had a problem.
