On the B pillar?
That black textured cover. It peels off dead easy with a hairdryer, but i have never asked ren for new stuff which just sticks back on.
drill the holes in the strut top after aligning and marking them, turn the ignition module/coil upside down and bolt the thing on, then set the tension.
Simply changing a cam you wont gain torque, you can only really do this by opening the LCA and reducing duration and cam timing.
You cant gain more power on a ltd capacity engine without using more rpm and that means a cam which works in high rpm ranges......tradeoff being the same profile...
check the earth connection on the alt as this corrodes and can snap easily if you accidentally push it too hard and you wont know as the loop connector stays on the alt.
The car will start, then the batt runs down and batt dies.....
Did someone say my name! lol
Been ultra busy.......oh well.
IF it aint broke, dont fix it..........
And it is loud aint it, i loved it, HK hated it..........
Dunno how they do it in S.Africa but in general forecour fuel is either strict RON or a MON/RON average. SO a 100RON court fuel could be a 105 RON and 95MON average.
93 is low, the car will drive and adj to the lower octane, but its not gonna help you in the power stakes.
only problem is that the brake distribution is controlled via the ABS computer with a load sensor, this turning the ABS off equals a 50/50 bias......not the best in any circumstances especially the track.
New systems it also controls the EBD.
Going a single step up to the regrind 270 is particuarly useless, it basically does very little especially with no cylinder head mods.
I would personally go as wild as i could keeping it hydraulic and coupling it with a modified cylinder head to reap the best from the cam.
Totally depends...
lucky, i had 4 pints of milk spill in my car, left to go yummy for a 2 month holiday in HK whilst the car was parked up...............that smell took 150 billion magic trees to get out.
sounds like the coolant system has not been properly filled, as water sloshes past the temp sender it makes it jump.
There is a process to bleeding the 16V to make sure its got no air in it.
