The 17s on mine made it undrivable, couldn't go over a bump or round a corner, without the wheels making horrible noises everywhere. Even my 16s rub on enthusiastic corners. Get them changed for some smaller ones. 15s ideally, just for the price of tires.
Like the engine cover, but you'll get nothing but grief over that front splitter... and rightly so.
As for the wheels, my car came with 17" 1.2s on, I've since changed them for 16"s and wonder why any one would put 17" alloys on a clio, they're just too big.
Worst thing ever invented. It dries hard, and cracks with any movement, such as an engine rocking back and forth. As mentioned up there ^ somewhere, silicone sealant will solve the problem. Mine was forever coming apart, took it to selectatyre of all places, and haven't had a problem since!
Having spent an awful amount of money on mine, I'm forver paranoid about yoofs keying, denting, trolley pranging, scuffing etc...
Can't be doing with having to spend more money on it.
This happened a lot when I was in sixth form. Cars got decorated with sweets, and buried in leaves. Tbh, no one cared about their cars at that time, so it was all a laugh!
I heard theres a mint condition drivers seat for sale on eBay at the moment? It even comes with a bust passenger seat!
...In regards to the halfords repair kit, I'd be suspicious of the results you could get.
Unfortunately I noticed mine doing this tonight. Booted it a bit, and got the needle up to the middle. Oil was fully warmed up as well, as the rev limiter was at 7200. Just when driving normally the needle sat a notch below the middle.
I recognise that unfortunately

Basically you need to sit there with a hairdryer to heat up the plastic, bend the plastic away from the body work, and cut away the adhesive with a very sharp stanley...
