The cars maybe cheap, but you'll still have steaming friction burns from your ass when the insurance man delivers your premium....
Lube-option only apples when you're over 30, iirc. Or your post-code is on Lundy Island.

Heavy pistols are proving to be life-savers. Crap on biotic/flesh enemies, but essential on armoured ones. Love how your standard SMG does little to the armoured guys and the you switch to the heavy 6-shot pistol and see their armour rating plummet. :)
I shouldn't have been too quick to...
It was an unlock code that I got with the pre-ordered game through Play. Came inside the case as an unlock code. :)
Personally, I think the weapons and upgrades in this game are MUCH better than the previous one. The problem I had with the original game is that the upgrades just began to go...
6 hours in for me - snick, I got to agree with the Archangel bit. :)
Loving that 'black hole' warp cannon thing. Takes and age to power up and fire, but it's massively effective on all types of target....
Off it goes - across to the targets.....
Almost there...
Put another way m8 - I can run Mass Effect 2, Bioshock and Unreal Tournament 3 in 1920x1200 with most of the bells and whistles on - and I've only got a dual core AMD X2 6400 as well!
I think combine a current ATi card with our existing quad-core setup and you should be more than fine.

Brilliant. Just brilliant. Aside from the right-mouse button finally giving up after 4 years of usage (lol) - this has been one of my best gaming experiences in recent times.
It's almost like anything and everything that was merely 'ok' with the previous game, has been revamped and made so...
Definitely.
Still running on my trusty 'ol 4870 - but if I were to buy a new one tomorrow - it would be ATi and not nVidia that I'd be spending the readies on....

Lol - me too on the C-64. :)
Another one that was good was Stuka Raid on the BBC Micro - probably around 1987/88 time. We used to have that on the BBCs at school, along with Decathlon on the old, old IBM PCs.
We had an even ealier game called Sopwith on the Research Machines terminals at...
With a bit more support and development, that could have been a truly superb O/S. I bought it in OEM form and ran it for some time. It was really, really quick on initial installation - just a shame that hardly anything supported it.
The two things that were a guaranted install on it though...
Feckin' hell! I didn't think anyone else would remember this! Definitely Cinemaware's best game of all time, followed by Rocket Ranger and It Came from the Desert.
Great story/career mode and waay ahead of it's time - it really pushed the limits on what the Amiga hardware could do.
Brilliant...
Interesting!
I did buy both Grand Prix Managers' by Microprose back in the early 90s, but I never really got 'into' them. There were quite a few options and inputs to change, but it was very, very easy to run out of money. A bit like real F1 teams, I guess? :)

Not tried it yet! Main reason was that I'm trying to download the 60MB+ and 460MB+ DLC packs for it before I start.
Unfortunately, it appears most of the civilisied world is trying to do the same. The downloads are timing out a lot. :(

64-bit all the way. If your hardware will support it, you might as well use it. :)
I've had but a single issue with 64-bit, so I would definitely recommend it.

Depends how 'deep' you want to go into it. Is this on PC, btw?
Sturmovik is a good one, but if you can recite flight manuals verbatim - then DCS Black Shark is definitely where it's at....

Welcome Dan. :)
Personally, I'd pick the colour you want first and stick with it. Black gold is a great colour but an absolute nightmare to keep clean. I've had mine since new in December '04 and even the results from a weekend's worth of PC'ing and buffing up, literally last a few weeks -...
