I think it takes a little longer to get into, m8. I was thinking the same - about the same amount of time in.
All the dialogue is the bit that's getting to me more than anything. Rather than being interesting and adding to the storyline, it's getting tiresome, imo.

FFS Jonff - that's well out of order. :(
I know a pretty good place bodyshop if you're still in need of a quote? Any pictures will probably help.
Sorry to hear about this, m8. :(

It does happen, unfortuantely. I've got two music CDs that simply refuse to be played on my PC. That was both in Windows XP and now Windows 7. Chuck them into a standard stereo and they play fine.
I've never really done much research as to the reason why. Either the encoding is alien to the...
^^^ - the exact reasons why if I was ever bother to have a media server, I would want it cabled. No ifs or buts, it just works - no 'grey areas' of signal strength, etc.
I still don't really get the fascination that most people have with wireless. It's almost like they need wireless...
If you can afford a MacBook - go for one of those. I'm personally no fan of the Bitten Fruit at all, but there's no denying that as a small, useful and capable laptop, the standard MacBook is a very good device indeed.
Whether or not it justifies the price hike over a decent PC-based laptop is...
I disable any form of power-saving/hibernation on every PC I use. To me, they are either on or they are off. Can't stand the hibernation feature myself!

Just finished it now - absolutely bloody epic game! :approve: It easily matches and in parts, surpasses the awesomeness of Fallout 3, imo.
I came in a few minutes under 36 hours in total. All systems explored and all missions completed.
The one little quirk I encountered was that I got all...
I think the bigger problem is the boring nature of these types of circuits. Very flat and normally turning into the same direction corner again and again.
Not really my type of racer...

Have you got any Norton or Symantec crap installed on there? I'd uninstall it, if you have.
Have you got SP3 installed too or are you still running on SP2?

Yes, yes, and yes! Not heard of Black Tiger? Was that a console game?
It would still have to have the opera music in it though. Playing through surround sound as you activate the automated docking sequence into the Lave space station..... ;)

This sounds really, really promising - I think I'll buy it for the PC without trying the demo first! :)
Includes vehicles - great. Engineer class - great. Doesn't play like COD - great. Three ticks for me, so far!

Could be. But comparing an in-depth, strategic RPG with wave-based FPS game is like pairing off an F1 car against a caravan - they are worlds apart. ;)
Still - each to their own. I've never liked CounterStrike, but millions of people still do. Similarly, there are those that haven't even tried...
Wow? You think's it's that bad? I think MW2 online (as did COD4) sux the donkey's schlong for ultimate repetitive boredom - but I think it's far from being one of 'the worst' games I've played. ;)
There's a much bigger depth to L4D2 than most people are willing to accept. You can't get 62...
Only spotted it at the last moment as a tool in a inferno-coloured Punto came through on red.
While I held back to work out wtf they were doing, I noticed you in traffic on the other side of the road. Apologies! :)

As the unofficial historical g33k on the Wasteland-through-to-Fallout lineage - it will be interesting if they include some references back to Vegas in this game?
Las Vegas was a major part of the original Wasteland game. You got to jail-break a key character out of a cell after being locked...
Which one was the one with the 80s theme? Was that Vice City? That was probably the best of the bunch. I think few things can be as bizarre as mowing down a group of pedestrians at full pelt in a sports car while listening to Owner of a Lonely Heart by Yes.
