Speaking from experience - Suzuki Hayabusa's are not only faster but extremley, and by faster i mean extremley faster from 0-100 than a Phase One 172 - by a fair old margin hahahahaha..
If you put every Renault Sport clio in a straight line bar the V6 it would be difficult to base a decision on picking one on a performance based opinion going by a 0-100, they're is nothing in it.

When it was up on the ramp and we had a good look around it and spun the wheels everything was free and moving as it should nothing obvious catching. So this is obviously happening as a result of the weight of the front end over the suspension but i just cant see how the top mounts can cause...
No dis-respect guys but this isnt normal.
Tony im aware of the steering at full lock issues - at worst it should creak at low speeds, this is something that would insist is bent/out of place. My old Phase 1 172 wasnt anything like this

Its only at full lock aswell which is odd as it drives straight as an arrow at any other point of Travel.
I really doubt its anything ro do with the top mounts?
Danny i hope you're right tbh, i went to a garage today and they put it up on the ramp for me. Nothing looked suspicious, everything was tight.

No mate just standard shocks and springs. Ive not had a chance to have a look at it but if it looks as bad as it sounds then its going off the road? I know the top mounts have a tendancy to clunk at low speeds but this is most definatley a bigger problem than that :-(
