Started with a new soldier last (BF2142 allows you to have up to 4 at anyone time) and I'm progressing up the Recon tree. As it was previously the class I played the least with, I thought I'd go with this one. Managed to get a few unlocks so far....
I would say that the Recon class is by...
......both driver and occupant were looking under the near-side front - I hope it wasn't serious? Private plater.
Would have pulled over, but I was on the opposite side - sorry chaps.
D.
Y-plater that joined ahead of me on the Ramsbottom slip-road, heading south. You then pulled off at Pilsworth a couple of junctions down.
I would have caught up with you, but the utter pleb in the car in front refused to pull over. And I wasn't one for bullying him out of the way. Still a tool...
They are massively different m8. Sat at the wheel and not looking at the mirrors - there's little to tell them apart.
But turn the key and go for a drive and you instantly notice the difference. The 'box is great on the Vee's imo and with the fronts only providing direction, you don't have to...
I think the biggest issue facing the PC market, is that to newcomers, it all looks messy.
Consoles are switched on and they simply work. The whole 'hassle' of firing up a PC, logging on if you have multiple accounts, then finding that Windows has several updates waiting to go..... it just...
^^^ - take skillz that thing to use well, what with the recoil! I always found it better to switch to single-shot mode on that - a bit like a rapid firing rifle then. The rocket attachment unlock is vital on Titan mode, imo.
I still think that widescreen issue has yet to be resolved - if ever...

Did my favourite 'Titan finale move' last night again! Our Titan got destroyed and as people bailed out off the deck, one of the opposition was ahead of...
Just caught a fleeting glimpse of a 182 at Heap Bridge roundabout last night that I'm sure was the sacred petrol blue colour.
It went up the slip-road at Heap Bridge, heading south towards the M62. I hope there is one of those nearby - superb colour! :approve:

FLOL! Not quite sure how that happened! Wonder if the mods can clear the first lot. :)
Oh, and 74-0 K/D ratio when doing a bit of walker wh0ring! The AI is just so dumb at times! ;)

Three years on and this thing still captivates me like no other FPS game out there. After the v1.50 patch for the BF2 thread, I reinstalled BF2142 again. Going straight to single player mode to get the 'ol mouse and eye coordination back up to speed, I got an in-game buddy message from...
Nope - there were some that wouldn't! It's a bloody Clio FFS - not a fooking Ferrari! Insurance sucks length. :S
Nah. Not when both Elephant and Admiral were quoted £353 a piece. ;)

Used to do this for me m8 on one of the Fallout 3 DLC's on the PC. It would just bomb out, but continue to work anyway. :S
I guess it's a bit more strict on the XBox?

Ok, so let's just get some stats shall we....
Age 34
No points, no convictions
Maximum no claims
Clean license since passing in March 1992
182 valued at £4k - just a random figure I picked
Jain insured on the car too
....some decent quotes came up. And at the other end of the scale, there...
That's part of the appeal that consoles will never, ever, ever be able to replace. Stuff having the same kit again and again - custom s**t is the way to go. :)

Definitely average for me - and I think m4rkie on post 12 summed it up best - playing for enjoyment.
Any new game, I just start off on Normal or Average difficulty as I think this is the kind of skill level that the game developers wanted you to play it at. It's usually a nice balance between...
FPMSL! It's a case. A case to protect the quite fragile disc clipped to the inside. I could have a shelf of vomit-green coloured DVD caes, complete with purple pansies on them - and I wouldn't give a s**t.
It's there to do a job - not be part of the ambience of the room. :rasp:

First one. A heaviliy stickered up and modified '52 172 Cup. The car itself looked pretty smart, but the female driver looked terrified. Heavy rain + spray + motorway rush hour traffic + no ABS = panic. ;)
Pie-eater silver 197. It's fat arse went past both me and Mrs. Worried above.
'05 black...
Cheers guys. The group membership side of things will probably require a bit more investigation, I think. :)
Merging the domains is miles off yet - if ever, really.

A lot of people slate EBC stuff, but I think that's when they are subjected to heavy track work.
When my front OEM pads were shot prior to the 36k mile service and an advisory on the rears - I decided to replace the whole lot - discs and all. I went for the EBC Turbo Grooved discs (cheesey, I...
We've got two seperate domains at work, ironically, for no specific reason whatsoever. Over the years, they have grown and are physically connected via the network.
We share a few folders and the odd printer, but nothing major.
As both domains are Windows 2003 Standard Server domains, are...
