why do people do this? He's taken a performance car, which is designed specifically to perform well, put daft oversized wheels on it, and stupid body features. Last time I checked, that was classed as demodifying a car
Function over form ftw
Getting there indeed :approve:
Going to have to duct tape up the bare metal till i can afford a respray, just so it doesn't rust. It's had a run out tonight, been along some nice twisty back roads.:)
i swapped mine over last night, pictures in my project thread.
used the LED sidelights from halfords, and look much better than the standard ones.
Changing them is pretty straight forward, as said pop off the rubber cap that goes over the wires, I found it easier to take the full beam...
Been out again tonight... but got pissed off with the tiger seal, so out came the sand paper.
I've taken quite a lot of it off, but unfortunately its gone down to the metal in places.
Got to be resprayed anyway, so nay bother.

Gave up after 2 and a half hours...
Go for the pro race 1.2's, the strength of them is phenominal, had a tour round rimstock who make them in west bromwich and saw some very impressive engineering
To the driver of the silver 182 that overtook me, my mate, and 2 other cars in the middle of a 40 at the top of matlock, congratulations on being a first class prick.
Putting yours, and others lives in danger to be first in queue at the traffic lights FTL
Had the car coming the other way...
haha, thats a good point, it's one of those routes that you have to know well, or you end up flying off a cliff
Birthdays drawing closer, so insurance is within reach. One year in the making, and I can't fecking wait
I've had one of those moments, swerved to avoid a rabbit in the early hours, and clipped the grass verge on the other side of the road, flicked the car sideways and scared the s**t out of me
Since then, I don't swerve for anything
heat gun may well be the best way of doing it. worth a bash. Definatly come for a run when you get the new motor. I'll show you the route I always took to mansfield, fun twisty back roads :approve:
when it happens, you'll have fun. My first experience of brake fade was scary... sharp corner coming at the bottom of a slope, foot on brake pedal, no change in speed, followed by much bad language
welcome, get the cheque book out if your after serious power gains. Very tuned engines to begin with, so getting more power out of them requires a couple of thousand at least
camera phones ftw :rasp:
Over used phrases from cliosport ftl :dapprove:
Still got to get all the black stuff off of the quarter panels yet adam... nudge nudge wink wink
14" steelies, black with polished rims sound good
if its 15's your after, maybe 2118's with coilovers?
do a search and find out the names of the popular alloys on here, then get onto google.
Appreciating the comments everyone:)
Ads 172: comment noted, and I've got some knocking around for when it gets a proper spray/clean
Cat: theres a fine line behind bravery and stupidity lol. Looking back, wish I had never started it. But I shall keep working at it.
Rossmac: Best way of...
