Traditionally any change in bhp has an impact on bhp/tonne, so yes i think it would. And, it probably does restrict the gas flow, but by a stupidly small amount

The spoiler helps him with downforce when travelling at high speed, the body kit is obviously there to reduce the amount of air that travels under the car, lowering pressure, and preventing the front end lifting up, as his spoiler pushes the back down.

That looks exactly like what happened to my car when I bought it! exactly like it! Same price for repair too, and from experience I'd say, stay well clear, no where near worth repairing it.
