tell the BTCC 220bhp is all they need and they wont notice the diff....
With your reasoning you could say that 220bhp is all you need in a rwd car...i mean, its only got 2 powered wheels and touch the throttle round corners you might die or something right.....
seriously, 220 is not...
but hidden withing is the strength of a silver backed gorrila.....female of course.......dont make me gorilla hug you gorrila style behind a bush.....:D
glaze is a phenomenon you get after long service life.
The finish (honed) isnt particuarly hard wearing, its there to promote sealing. The copious amounts of oil from bore sprays keeps them in very good nick.
lol.......precision engineering, i like it!
ON my b*****d rod end balljoint it took pressure on teh underside of the balljoint from a jack and my toughest set of mole grips which i had to use 2 lump hammers to close to get the b*****d nut off without the spindle twisting. Using heat only...
hang on a sec, you did what to the bores?
emry cloth?
What did you do about eh specific cross hatching needed for good seals and low firction.....alot of power can be lost incorrectly honing......and most shops just cant do it properly.
youll be surprised that sometimes a bad day can jsut happen. And removing a track rod after 12 years of salt spray can be a b*****d....you do know that the thread the nyloc nut is on swivels when you turn the nut, so if you dont know how to, or what to do it can be a right bastrd!
this weeked...
erm guys, you dont have to floor it all the time....its not gonna spin up in 4th at 100mph.
too much power....silly comment.
Remember sunnys 550bhp fiesta....that doesnt spin all the way up to 180mph.
Stub axles are on the rear.
Depends what your getting the banging from, could be from a multitud of things such as worn lower arm bushes, worn balljoints, top mounts, engine mounts, parts hitting eachother (ex manifold etc)......and in no real circumstance does a phenomenom like tram occur...
the 172 has the regulator on the pump inside the tank so you cant fit one....well, not easily.
Jim, would you like to quote anybody else along with me hahaha :P
balancing TBs is only really a matter of making sure the spindle isnt twisted.
Throttle bodies will give a higer peak gain than any comparable mod retaining the std plenham.....its also hard to compare as keeping a std head & cams but running TBs will give a totally different drive to wild...
Henry, there is a specific bleeding teqnique but its not hard at all. And using teh correct coolant prevent corrosion mostly. INfact on of the coolants come pre rust coloured so you cant see the rust lol!
Renault have so many damn types of coolant.
you will really have to pop under the car and have a look as there are only 2 real areas. Below the gearstick and below the gearbox.......not much to adj as i dont think fitting a knob would throw it out of alignment.
