But surely the CC just opens and closes the throttle to achieve a set speed (similar to a PID controller) , so needs a fbw setup, or in this case a motor to open and close the throttle bodies
I have no idea how CC works, just presumed the above.
I was thinking the same about running on standard management, but people tc/sc on standard, but they will still be running fbw i think.
Also, someone said ktecs management keeps cruise, how? Surely it would need an additional motor to open the throttle.
Hi :)
So both cruise control and speed limiter dont work?
When you flick the switch does it light up like normal and display ---- waiting for you to input a speed?
If an rstuner will check airbag codes you can borrow mine, not sure if it does though.
Re: RB182 Diary
Getting them done at CAS Coatings in Bradford. Not sure about the prada's, want something thats good in the wet and i have a feeling they will perform similar to my old t1-r's. So was looking at hankooks, the v12's or possibly the rs2's
Re: Yorkshire Easter Sunday meet
Is there anything to do at that park near wakefield? Don't know its name, its near some water where they do water sports. Not been since I was like 10 lol.
Re: RB182 Diary
Well, i'm not sure yet.
What would you recommend thats cheap? By cheap I mean sub £200 for all 4 not including fitting
Not even booked any track days for this year yet so need to pull my finger out come payday.
K-tecs are ok but are too soft imo.
I think they are a perfect compromise between handling/comfort/price but if I was to purchase again I'd be leaning more towards handling and getting something else.
Took me a while to find a decent one, most seemed to have/have had damage when I was looking around.
And imo prices are really low atm, in the last 6 months 182's really seemed to have come down a lot.
From looking at them they looks straight, no buckles, 'stretch' marks, bad curbing. Just usual very light curbing.
They are W17GLE's old wheels apparently
^^
All 182's are due now or soon though if they haven't been done.
Sure I read somewhere one here today about if you only do short journeys it needs doing at 48k, but you dont know if all its done is short journeys :S
Yer, i'm one of the people that has been praising them lol, just not in public view since i dont want them getting too busy!
Tbh these are what ive been looking for, a few sets have come up cheap(ish) with tyres and in good condition but i wanted a set to powder coat and to wrap in something...
Re: RB182 Diary
Bought these today, off to the powdercoaters on Wednesday to be painted a different colour.
Bad news though, got a stonechip on the way home on the motorway :( , auto glass are coming Tuesday so hopefully its repairable.
Does your cig lighter still work?
If not its probably a fuse since this happened on my old clio (stupid mother thought the 12v socket was a coin holder).
