stop texting and driving you coonts!

Is it just me or do they go from driving on the left hand side to driving on the right hand side in that? Watch the car in the distance after the Fiesta has hit them as well, which btw, makes no sense.

Laptop Problem - Hard drive filling fast

Ah cheers Mike, but I got it sorted. Downloaded something called TreeSize Pro, and I found at 76GB Realplayer file. Deleted it and all is good now.

    Steering Wheel STFU!

My Clio did this. The best fix I found was to sell it.

Best time to do a full detail?

Nice one guys, cheers. I can do hand polishing/waxing etc myself, but I'm going nowhere near it with a machine polisher.

Laptop Problem - Hard drive filling fast

I have 2GB or RAM. It's not virtual memory thats the problem. Out of the 100GB available, there should be between 50-60GB left. The hard drive is in three partitions (100GB each). I'm running Vista Basic.

Laptop Problem - Hard drive filling fast

The hard drive on my laptop is filling up fast as f**k. I can literally sit and hit F5 in my computer and watch available space drop by about 100mb every 10 seconds. Wtf is causing it? I'm thinking virus of some sort tbh. Running AVG just now but if it hasn't picked it up already, I'm not...

Best time to do a full detail?

Hey all. Got a quick question about detailing/paint correction. My car is black and a year old, and as expected, the paint is swirled and there are some very minor scuffs in some places. I want it sorted (I'm not doing it myself, never done it before and won't do it often enough to justify...

    Decisions, decisions!

I think you have made the wrong decision, but it's your motor and it really doesn't affect me anyway.

    Tyre profile differences...

Which is why I said 195/55/15. There is only a couple of mm difference in the diameter.

    Tyre profile differences...

I'd go with 195/55/15. It's closer to the original wall height.

    19, insurance problems

Christ! The amount of fail in that post is off the chart! Iv'e been driving for 5 years, and my 5 premiums added up don't even total £3k.

    My 2006 1.5 dynamic S - opinions needed!

Is it much more? Lol, when I bough my VW I went for the 140 as I assumed the 170 would cost a lot more. I have only recently found out that there is no difference in price. I was fuming.

Lower and colour code the side strips maybe.

    Decent Landline/Broadband Deals

Lol, that's a bit of a horrendous sweeping statement. I take it you had a bad experience? Never found them to be a problem myself. Always had stuff installed on time and have never had to call CS.

    shell v-power 99

I'm going to try V-Power derv and see if it makes any difference, as I'm a sceptic and think it's all crap/in the mind.

    Finally!

I paid £600 fully comp at 19. Didn't have the accident though. Everything else was the same. It was with Admiral, mum and dad as named drivers.

    50.4 mpg

Yeh but that's not what you are actually getting though. The average MPG needs time to calibrate. Thus, all these claims are balls. You don't have an instant MPG readout so can't give an accurate figure.

    Been Given A Choice

I don't even think the 2.0TDI 170 is that good on fuel. I have the 2.0TDI 140 in my Jetta and I only average about 45mpg. And it's not that good in traffic. In fact on my way home today I only manage 37mpg.

    Been Given A Choice

MK 6 Golfs are not cheap when speced up. I saw a 1.4TSI GT in the showroom a month ago for £26.5K...eh, no thanks.

I got £4K from VW for my 2 1/2 year old Campus sport with 26K on the clock. Took it in f**king manky with parts of my respray peeling off the door. So based on that, no.

    Petrol

I used to - and still do as it happens - reset it after each fill up. Tbh I never used the miles to go feature. Was always b****cks. Just fill right up and see how many miles you get, compare it to how many you should get, and if it's miles out there might be something wrong.

    Petrol

Are you resetting the computer after you fill up? It's not really that accurate anyway, more of a rough guide.
