not sure really mate, i guess so, iv seen a few higher mileage ones, i know of that silver one that was still going at 208k until the aux belt snapped, and i know of a cup on 158k so iv still got a while to go yet,iv also seen another black one on 138k, but i guess mines gotta be one of the more...
.......in nearly two weeks, i bought an Escort as i was offered it cheap, and iv been using that, but decided to drive the Clio today, god iv missed it lol, and i know its going to feel fast after a 1.6 16v Zetec engine but good god i swear its going even better
Though now iv not driven...
agreed, like i said mines done it from the day i bought it, and iv done coming up 26k now, and its still fine, its worried me a few times to be honest mate, but nothing has ever shown up through driving, and it still makes great power
no mate i think i have that too, i can hear it from under the bonnet, or near the car but hear it alot more clear inside, ie when blipping the throttle lightly when sat in the drivers seat, what happens if you hold it at say 1300 rpm does it constantly make this noise? im not sure if the noise...
it might not be covered, i know iv had headlights rejected under warranty at work (VW) for condensation, pop in and ask for a technician to have a quick look with you, free diag FTW
mines on 124k now and still on its original clutch and box, i think it does depend on how it was looked after, also i think Clio's suffer badly from the 'friday afternoon car' syndrome, get a bad one and you will see no end of trouble, get a good one and look after it and you will be fine
iv got VW PD diesel oil mine (i work for VW) iv chatted to castrol about this when iv ordered our bulk oil (about 2500 ltrs in one go lol not much really) and they have said its fine to go into petrols, and VW are hopefully announcing soon we will be using PD oil in petrols soon
have to disagree there, the ph2 air box isnt a great design, esp on the 172's, hence why people fit the ph1 or espace v6 airbox
dont remove the airbox as then the panel filter will have no where to fit lol, fit a panel, will make a small improvement, not really noticable though
i know its not a Clio but im hoping one of the tuners on here might shed some light on this for me:
i am trying to get a 2000 year 1.6 16v zetec ford escort though its emissions test, and cant get it to pass, ther CO drops to just within limits at 0.018% after coming down from 0.757% (limit...
i would say going that fast into that roundabout, hearing how he only steered out of it with no throttle control id say that was more luck than anything else
that is true, alot more progressive that the clio
though the point i was trying to make was he simply turned in,let off and let it...
