Yep - had him for ages until I caught up with me 'ol dad. Then escorted dad all the way back to Rivet City and Dogmeat was no where to be found. :(
I'm hoping he's gone back to either the Scrap Yard or the original Vault. I'll probably check out both locations, tbh.

Great piece of kit. But the Super Sledge is so much more rewarding to use. Especially against super mutants as they are far to slow to turn on the spot and you run around them going thwap, thwap, MASH! ;)
Not done GNR yet either. Got two of those five keys/items that that ghoul has asked me...
You're such a caveman, Turner... ;)
I spoke to 'Cherry' and using the Speech skill managed to convince her to steal Dukov's key off of him. She agreed to it, so long as I escorted her back to Rivet City.
She got the key, flicked to World Map - travelled to Rivet City - job done. More good...
Just how much brilliant crafting of game design have they put into this? :approve:
Headed back to Megaton and thought I'd take up the original Wasteland Survival Guide Missions. I take it most people have done the super-market raid mission?
Anyways, I get there and sort out the four raiders...
Mornin'!
Such a shame they don't make this a co-op game. Two Mad-Max wannabes causing havoc out in the wasteland.
Even better - have one player holier than thou and the other as one evil b*****d. Who talks and who doesn't? ;)

Broke the 20hr mark last night on this - currently at lvl12 (almost 13!)
Anyone else think that that Finesse perk is great? :) Increases the chance significantly of scoring a critical hit. Quite a few heads removed with a single scoped Magnum shot. :)
Took me long enough, but I've finally...
I've yet to come across the feral ghouls, but then again, I've only been in three subway stations yet, I think. The Family is definitely in one of them - could be that Meresti (sp?) one, but I'm not too sure on that.
Just got to Rivet City and viewed the market when I last saved it. I've still...
Lol - me too m8! :)
Some of the detail I can see through the various eye-pieces is truly impressive, but I've no way of capturing it. Shame really. Especially when Saturn is above the horizon (which it wasn't last night) - that's good to see with the rings and the inner moons around it.

Good pics! :)
It's either a trick of the lens, or do those 197s look almost as big as the 225 in that first pic?
I swear, those 197s get bigger and bigger with each passing day!
D.
Just had a quick mooch outside and took these....
.....and one of Jupiter - lol! Such a shame that on the higher-power lenses, they are eye-pieces only - not a straight through attachment that I could plug the image capture unit on to.
I used....
A Meade...
If you tell the sheriff, shades-dude shoot him in the back.
Helping the bloke with leaks is easy - there's only three dotted about Megaton. Fix them and the owd giffer gives you decent caps in trade for bringing back bits of scrap metal.

I became Mr. Diplomat on that mission. Got both sides working with each other and I got a benefit too - blood packs now equal 20HPs and not just 1HP. :)
Wait until you get to Little Lamplight. If ever there was a reason for you to loose it with an SMG with kids around - that's the place. The...
Have you come across some of the metro stations yet?
The weight limit is the only thing that I really don't like in the game. A typical inventory is on par with a full platoon's arsenal! I really wish the weight was more to scale. If you have a 200-point weight limit, make an assault rifle...
There's a Scrounger perk that you can get (lvl 6, iirc?) which reveals a lot more bullets when you find them. The assault rifles are good because of how common they are out there. That and the 10mm sub-machine gun - which is actually quite powerful close-up. The minigun is great, but the 5mm...
....behind me. Gave it a quick flash of the hazards and got a flash back. Went past me when I pulled over and it turned off at the Kearsley/Salford turn off.
Exhaust sounded good!

You need to break-the-back of the game, m8. At lvl 2, you are no more than a mere piss-ant and will probably die a lot. For me, it took until about lvl 8 before I could wander about and not get pwned whenever I met someone, or something.
I'm on lvl 9 now and managed to take on Paradise Falls...
Jesus. I hope it was mintier than when it left Reno for that price? Even 6 months ago, the prices were nose-diving. Unless my black gold 182 had about 5 miles on the clock, I'd expect people to laugh in my face if I put it up for sale anywhere near £7k.
D.
Great effort, Jack. I love the look of the Trophy alloy on the BG 182's and your extra trimming on the dash bits looks really well!
Btw, 'missing front splitters' are alarmingly common from Reno. When Jain got her arctic blue 182 from new at Reno, it didn't come with it. Though they weren't...
Bugger. Looks like I've deleted the pics. :(

I should have them somwhere though - I'll try and dig them out.

Time this right and it makes things SO much more easier for you. I found that ant nest colony out in the north-west yesterday and a few of the ants coming at me got hit by the queen ant's spit. They in turn ignored me and turned on the queen. She was still an 'ard b**ch to take down though...
