Just buy some Renault alloy wheels from a higher spec model, it won't put up insurance as all cars come with different options.

A load of us are doing FWD/RWD A class with <300bhp in a kind of touring car esque style. Very fun!

The 1.2 will do less mpg as you'll be trying to get it to go quicker. 1*2's will do 40mpg all day long if driven sensibly, the 1.2T might too but i know what I'd rather be in!
