Willy shocks wont be th revalations your hoping. Yea they have a higer damping and rebound rates but thats only 1/4 of the story.
What im trying to get across to people is that if you only fiddle with shocks ans springs well, your pretty much stuck with the original handling characteristics...
your car hasnt got the setup that the 16V has and youll need the entire suspension assembly and whatever Mat had if you want it to be the same. The non sporting clios just arent setups to take corners at a blistering pace.
Its more about geometry than harder springs and harder shocks....if you...
well, thats generally what happens, but thats not real refurbing, its just getting the old cack off, youll just have paint over any imperfections. I would rather get them smoothed to look like new.
huh????
suspension, its KNOWN to be the brake comensator......
the 172 is twitchy, but shouldnt send the rear to cathc the front when braking. Cliocup racer mod....all they have dont to the rear geometry wise are plates which you bolt inbetween teh stub axle to increase camber.
Um, the rear load compensator is there on all disc braked rears.
Its a little device under the rear and adjusting it is easy. you can do it yourself but there are no set amount.
EITHER, go to a MOT place where they test the brakes on a RR thing. jsut keep slackening it off till it dont...
Desmondo...the front crossmember is a vital peice make sure it goes to a great repair shop, surprised your airbag didnt go off!!
Hope it all works out and aint too expensive, best of luck...been there and its a b*****d!
People!
this is when you put the clutch back in.....surely you dont kust let it bounce round to 10,000rpm! hahaha
yes you can do it, but you really do have to try hard to get it into first at 100kph. It generally quite hard to get it into 1st below 30mph.

hehehehe
at least its not bad damage, and well......youll expect someone to at least spin on a 14 mile circut...
as to the seats.
Depends on what model and construction you choose. Some are heavy (recliners) some are a few kgs kevlar/carbon composit fixed backs. They are not comfortable though over long distances, even medium distances.
colour, you choice, cost....also your choice, from 80 for a crap...
