if they are std replacements, then they wont be any diff, although in general sachs is more performance orientated in their design and products. But not way of telling without looking at the products
I was asking because the it looked like the mating flage was at a diff angle, now i realise the Grp N is on its side! lol
I cant see any provision for a lambda on the Grp A one?
How much is a new one?
Sorry................
all i will say is that you could spend the cash on something else, like a new set of tyres, lower it, viper, track day etc etc.....all things that will make your car far faster than any chip.
Hi, im Ben, i own a 16V, its great, get one.
Im short and have orange hair, my hands are like sandpaper and i like apple juice.
I have the most posts :D and like many others, you will get annoyed by me very easy....haha
The only problem is the amount of stuff you have to unbolt and bolt back up.
if you try hard you can tilt the gearbox and you dont have to take it out, but you will have to take the shafts out, and youll need a few bits and bobs.
When i did it i needed new drive flange bolts, new roll pin...
um, my 100cc kart can out accelerate most rd cars, and the torque curve on that is non existent. It dont work till your up at about 9000rpm........
There are far too many variables to actually SAY this and that......
i think your all generalising too much.
A cup that makes 200nm and one that has the same peak power but 220nm and peaks its toque earlier will win.....simple.
An offroad vehicle can have as little as 68bhp (the old skool landcruisers) but heaps of torque. Its all relative my friends.
Anymore detail?
Does it happen everytime you snap open the throttle?
Or is it jsut a random thing?
can you get over 4000rpm if you press the throttle gently?
It does sound like a wastegate problem, seems like it is opening too fast, alternatively, like fred says, it could be as simple...
OK, jsut read my first post and it does seem morbid, i was truely talking about almost loosing it in your car and gatting it back, but it went a bit pear shaped!
Sorry peeps
i find myself quite strong, i didnt cry but the thoughts that go though your head.
