that white ring mate fits inside the inner cv boot to keep the boot taught when bolting the shaft flange back up to the box,it should push back inside the inner boot my old valver used to do this,needed a new box inthe end :( hope this doesnt mean the same for you

prob around the 200 bhp mark maybe a lil more,more important is better power delivery and torque,dont forget to get the inlets matched
