true mate,but as its a 182 and newer i would expect to pay more than i got mine for,i think go see it,make up some rubbish about the miles and then knock him down a bit
id def say its worth a look in,you havent anything to loose
there is a rubber mount under the gearbox that bolts to the subframe,im fitting this on mine 2moz morning hopefully this will fix my problem,same as urs

my 172 is now on 109,600 and still runs lovely,still on original box and clutch,mine has fsh,and seems to have been looked after,so if you can get it cheap (like i did-2k) then id go for it
who diagnosed the loom mate? if it was renault,go straight to the branch manager/dealer princeable and talk to him direct as he will have the say on these things,with my experience of working in a dealership you need to be direct but polite and explain that it was wrongly diagnosed in the 1st...
i would suggest making sure the black bracket that the throttle cable attaches to on the back of the throttle body is secure,mine used to stick at these revs,but once i fiddled with that mine has been fine
i didnt mean to snap bud,its just for years he has had nothing but people laughing about it,or saying its a cossie lol,where once its mapped properly it will be looking at a low 13 quarter at the worst,few mates have them,and run 13.4's all day long with 280 bhp,one guy running 340 was running...

as per my 1st post mate its off the road,its having new brakes and management,and he made that before she was put back into the garage,there will be plenty of vids when she is back out
