Best thing to do if someone is in the middle lane is play the circle game, I do this often. Overtake said car and come back into the first lane, they will then overtake you. Repeat this procedure and see how many circles you can do around them before they notice!

Exactly, I said earlier I've had 3/4 sets all used on track no problems. Only problem I had was when I over tightened one of the bolts after being on track and twisted the head off!

Yes, they should just pull off and go back on. If they are knackered though they may split when pulling off, in which case you needed new ones anyway.
