full engine loom, have kept hold of it to actually find out what is wrong with it. lots checked out ok but started finding all sorts of random shorts but nothing wrong with throttle related stuff whatsoever. as a red herring though the throttle body that was on also turned out to be faulty but...
ecu can stay, uch can stay but needs re configuring or you'll have service showing on the dash. not sure if you can sort the abs light out through the uch or you need cup dash?
crank sensor can give a 'hard cut' around 5,000rpm. can feel like a rev limiter, won't throw a code. chuck a new one on.
obviously get it plugged in first just in case but sounds like sensor.
