the water helps keep the surface cool on delicate material, and you dont have to use soddingly hard shot, there is a variety of grits to use.
Sand is good too, even cheaper, but they come away hell dirty! lol
Hmmm....if your using std arches, you can use the swage line as the start of the arch and cut out the new ones or existing arch and buil onto that, extending with sheet metal, or use another set of arches ontop of the others to extend it.....itll be bloody hard though!

ram air applies to any vehilce that can travel fast enough.
But motorbikes only really use it since they can achieve ridiculous speeds needed to create a tiny amount of positive pressure, not even near a singel PSI as you have to be doing well over 200mph since the max theoretical pressure...

The F7 manifold wont fit your engine, nor does it have the setup you require.
Oh, what carb is it? DFT, DGAV, DCOE, DCNF?
Your car should be injection shoud it not?
If it is thats your first starting point, lowering fuel pressure or youll flood the reserviour.

its no magic thing, they just get the old stuff off and put new pain on!
no worries if you dont want any help, go and pay 45 quid a wheel!
get them shot blast at a local engineering firm etc, then take them home, clean them. Use some filler for the edges of curbing etc, smoth it all down, then get it painted in whatever colour you want.
Thats how they do it, and youll save some money.
