Hmmm....if your using std arches, you can use the swage line as the start of the arch and cut out the new ones or existing arch and buil onto that, extending with sheet metal, or use another set of arches ontop of the others to extend it.....itll be bloody hard though!

ram air applies to any vehilce that can travel fast enough. But motorbikes only really use it since they can achieve ridiculous speeds needed to create a tiny amount of positive pressure, not even near a singel PSI as you have to be doing well over 200mph since the max theoretical pressure...

you cant force air in. Its just the easiest and best place to get the lowest temp air from outside the engine bay.

then get the them shot blast for a tenner and spray them!

get them shot blast at a local engineering firm etc, then take them home, clean them. Use some filler for the edges of curbing etc, smoth it all down, then get it painted in whatever colour you want. Thats how they do it, and youll save some money.
